  1. ^^^ I feel like Power Tower and Windseeker at CP get an automatic boost over the others due to the amazing views from the top. (Haven't gotten on Cedar Downs yet. Is there seriously no safety precautions IE: seatbelts?)
  2. ^ Heck if I know, this is the Valleyfair discussion thread.
  3. A Premier Skyrocket II doesn't fit either of the descriptions CF released regarding the 2018 coasters.
  4. ^^ Zulu is still on the park website. My guess is its just down for some refurbishment with the VF enterprise pieces that are left over.
  5. ^ Is it possible with the removal proposal they didn't do much in terms of upkeep with it over the off season? (Side Note: I find Excalibur better than most if not all other coasters in the park)
  6. Just a warning post for anyone planning on visiting WoF this weekend. (Based off of last weekend) Be prepared to stand in lines for an hour that should take 15 minutes. Lots of ride ops standing around talking when they should be checking lap bars. Prowler and Patriot were the worst of the bunch. Mamba was by far the most efficient and had very good operations.
  7. ^ I wan't to say that it was $95. I remember checking after I went to WoF last weekend and they weren't sold out yet.
  8. How long are the ERT sessions? Might just look into signing up for the event.
  9. I'm planning a trip to CP on the last week of May into the first week of June. Specifically May 30th to June 2nd. Does anyone have an Idea of how crowded the park will be on these days from personal experience?
  10. Maybe you're not stupid, maybe you just have bad luck when you think. And you make fun of people on the internet to feel good about yourself. It's okay we all have our quirks.
  11. ^ B&M dive trains are WAY too heavy for a beyond vertical drop. That's why you see intamin and gerstlauer trains with no more than 3 cars on a beyond vertical drop. Those trains are much smaller than those on B&M dive machines.
  12. I thought I saw Robb say as long as they were taken with the parks permission they were alright. There are some MS photos from Winter Chill Out a few pages back.
  13. LOL. You're acting like this is RMC pre NATG..RMC has a proven track record of success not only with their many Six Flag parks converts, but with ground ups like Goliath, Wildfire, etc... Yeah and eveyone thinks Intamin Pre Fabs are perfect too. Until Colossos (Heide Park) Closes down for an entire year because now it feels like a jackhammer on your spine. NTAG is only 6 years old. People thought Arrows were smooth when they opened. We have NO IDEA how RMC's age. They could end up as the worst rides on the planet (Highly unlikely but still possible)
  14. I should have said I don't think it will be a Dive Machine. (Unless it's a small one) You guys are right. There is enough room for a coaster there. Say a B&M hyper only needs room for a station and brake run. I could possibly see them going the Goliath SFOG rout and have it angle itself out around the park. I really don't think it will be any type of RMC either. CF will see how Mean Streak and KD Hurler go over with the GP before they go spend happy with a company they've never worked with before.
  15. Why does everyone think it will be a coaster? There's a reason that a boomerang is in that spot. It's doesn't take up any space. Nor did corkscrew. Unless they're getting rid of that building next to it, there will not be enough room for a coaster. Much less a massive dive machine that takes up 2 car rides and an apatheater of space. (CP) The problem with a 200 foot coaster is you need enough room to kill the momentum. And Knotts just doesn't have the space.
  16. /\ Might just have to post that every 2-3 pages so the message is even clearer than it already is.
  17. No brainer here, but don't just buy the FL+ passes instantly. Walk around and get a feel for the crowds and lines before making that decision. Also keep in mind that on some rides (MF), Fast Lane only gets you part way through. You still have to wait about 20 mins from where the FL end is. (Which is almost always with MF)
  18. WoF almost always sells out on Haunt Saturdays. They should keep track of the people who leave with them or sell a certain amount each hour so the Fast Lane lines aren't barren while I wait 3 hours for their Morgan Hyper.
  19. I know they did it at VF. But I didn't think it was introduced at the start of the season. I could be wrong though. I thought I also saw this wouldn't be valid during the Haunt events. Can anyone double check me on that?
  20. I'm kind of curious as to if they're just testing it at the other parks, or if any others would end up adopting it. On the website it says only so many are available for the season.
  21. I'm sure I'm going to end up feeling really stupid, but for the life of me I can not figure out which park you are using the acronym CO for.... Carowinds I assume. Yeah. I wasn't sure what the abbreviation for Carowinds was since CW is taken.
  22. CO, KD, Dorney, CGA, VF, WoF are all doing the Season long Fast Lane. Seems they're updating it as the night goes on. Carowinds is arguably the closest to CP in the chain. The one at CO is a $125 add on.
  23. With Michigan's Adventure and Valleyfair getting the season long fastlane. Does anyone else think WOF might be in the running for it too?
