I think I just went through the coldest day I've ever had. Arrived at the park early in the afternoon to rain, wind, and very chilly air. Once I started walking to the gate, I realized that wearing shorts wasn't such a good idea after all. The first thing I headed to was Talon, and was shocked to see a completely empty station. It was hard to choose front or back, but I've only ridden the front row once before then, so front it was. After one of the coldest rides of the day, I headed to Hydra, and there was another empty station. Never ridden the front, so I hopped right on. Did I mention it was cold out? The rest of the day before haunt was a typical, although cold day at Dorney. This was the first haunt I have been to, and it honestly was pretty fantastic for a place like Dorney. My favorite maze was probably Blood on the Bayou. I almost forgot I was in a Cedar Fair park. I will definitely be back next year. No pictures cause I left my phone in the car all day. Sorry!

I've only ridden four so far... 1. Afterburn at Carowinds 2. Talon at Dorney Park 3. Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg 4. Great Bear at Hersheypark Some may call me crazy for putting Talon above Alpengeist, but Talon is very rerideable, and I found that Alpengeist wore me down rather quickly. Afterburn is just flat out awesome. No words.

A worker told me that there was a serious issue with Volcano. Intimidator still isnt open. Had a nice few rides with Grizzly though.

When both Volcano and I305 are down, it really breaks my heart. Volcano will be out all day and I305 is "temporarily down." I usually have good luck here but not today. The two main rides being down is creating some lines longer than usual. Grizzly marathon time!

Park closed today due to the storm, and will open back up tomorrow. Tickets for today can be used for any single operating day through Sunday, September 11th.

Does anyone know what's going on with Volcano? It was closed the days I went last week as well. I have absolutely no idea. I would guess the answer is intamin though. Fun fact: Even without Volcano and Hurler, KD is still a much more well rounded park than Carowinds. Sorry if I just caused an argument... No argument needed. It's common knowledge that Carowinds has the better lineup and is pretty much superior in every way. You're free to disagree with that though. We can't force you to correct. If you are trolling you are REALLY good at it! I honestly can't tell if you are or not. I don't think they're being serious. Besides like 3 coasters, the whole lineup is stale coaster types or clones. Nothing special.

According to one of my stepmother's coworkers, Sidewinder got stuck and they are taking people off the ride at this time.

Crowds get crazy here on Saturday nights. It's unfortunate that I saw an extreme number of people being taken away on stretchers. Please keep yourself hydrated when you go to parks, even when it's not too hot out. Humidity is what gets you, and today was one of those days. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Dorney is becoming a but scary today. I've seen a number of stretchers being taken around the dry side AND WWK. What's going on??

Too bad I'll be at Dorney tomorrow. I would love to be there for the announcement of what I hope is an RMC Hurler. Wouldn't be too surprised to NOT see it happen though. Regardless of what it could be, I'm excited.

Why do you feel so freaking entitled for something big? Its not TPR's fault that you aren't getting your B&M hyper.

One of them didn't have a certain character in it, but the rest of them did. According to your logic, the character wouldn't be in the movie at all. Do you read what you type? Whatever ends up happening is most likely going to be Snoopy related. Don't see how it fits in that area of the park, but I guess we'll know in a couple days.

I don't know how so many people are missing the fact that Snoopy has been in EVERY ONE OF THESE TEASERS. Then again, what else can you expect from this thread? A B&M Hyper is DEFINITELY coming next year. /sarcasm

I'd take any row 1-8. I've never ridden a B&M before Fury that was good in literally every seat.

Talon at Dorney Park is overlooked by a lot of people. Then again, I've never ridden in any row except the back. The drop is spectacular, especially in the far left seat!

Hurler with trims will never be as good as Hurler without trims, no matter how rough it was. I'm all on board for an RMC Hurler!

I'll be at Dorney Park next Saturday to get some rides on the worlds best mine train and my favorite B&M duo. And of course, the log flume will NOT be forgotten! For some reason, I just really love going to Dorney. That might be because my local park is Six Flags Trashmerica though...

Hmm... the bottom two shields seem a bit generic in my opinion, and although blue is my favorite color, I think red fits better. Red with Dragon Shield has my vote!

Those Timberliners look beautiful I would really love to visit some of the smaller New England parks some day.
