It's doesn't appear to be out for everyone yet. But due later this week. I bought the game off the site for $15 and am still waiting at the moment. As an aside would you be able to give me a rough idea of the size of the download? I'm currently on a satellite connection for the next 2 weeks and we have a fairly restrictive download allowance so I may have to wait a couple of weeks to download it anyway.

It seems Cinecittà World in Rome is in some trouble after a poorer than expected first full season. Thanks Robb. I've already heard some really good things about this ride. Also have an update on the Ningbo Heritage Park M&V coaster. Construction is on going. Certainly a clone of the Jinan ride.

M&V's latest creation is now running at Fantawild Dreamland in Zhengzhou. The third Jungle Trailblazer to open this is the only one of the 3 currently operating JT rides not to invert.

Wanda Xishuangbanna Theme Park has soft opened and the B&M has taken it's first riders. Here's a snapshot of the ride.

The old Maximum RPM! Coaster from Hard Rock Park is up and being repainted at Asian Park There's a very big tower going up at Ocean Park, Vietnam close to the old Led Zeppelin coaster. I have NO idea what it is for though.

interesting update on the Premier Launched coaster The ride has a rear spike behind the launch. It will first launch forwards into the loop, roll back, and launch backwards into spike, then launches forwards again through the loop before competing the rest of the circuit. you can see the rear spike here if you look carefully.

I'm keeping an eye on it but nothing yet. The Chinese haven't developed a culture of obsessive coaster geeks like us who take photos of all the rides as the go up. It's mostly just news articles which are pretty rare

The hard rock park one doesn't count as its relocated and opened before. Also not quite true In short here is how it breaks down. There are already more than 100 coasters actually in existence. 96 Operating 1 Has operated and will reopen. Led Zeppelin 4 New Under Construction Hot Go Park Wing Coaster Xisuangbanna Flyer USJ Flyer Mako 1 Sat in the yard Unknown brown dive machine So there are 97 B&M's that have opened before and 5 known coaster being built which could claim the title of 100th B&M to open. The 3rd of those 5 to open will be the 100th. XIshuangbanna's flyer is due to open in a month or two. So its the 2nd to open out of USJ's flyer, Mako, Hotgo's wing coaster or that brown dive machine. If you count DC as one then its the 3rd of those 4 to open. Does that make sense? Does it really matter? No not really.

Considering that half a dozen have been relocated, is it really 100? To me they have yet to reach that milestone. They are close That excludes relocated. Its 99 separate rides. 100 if you include dragons challenge as 2. In which case the last one of the current under construction rides to open would be 100. Judging by current construction probably Mako or USJ's ride.

Happy Valley Chengdu recently released a survey for a park expansion. http://cd.happyvalley.cn/Tourist/survey.aspx The survey included asking about future coaster preferences and includes a wooden coaster, launched coaster and a junior suspended coaster. What's most interesting is the video they include for the launched coaster. Here is the video of a maurer launched x-train coaster. Certainly a unique if low capacity ride. Obviously this isn't confirmation that this ride is coming but it is interesting

A bit of trivia. The next B&M Coaster to be announced. (Likely to be Cedar Point's Dive Machine by the sounds of it) will be B&M's 100th coaster. All 99 previous coasters are still operating or under construction. An impressive feat.

Turkey has been a hot bed for new parks and coasters recently and it doesnt show any sign of showing down. There are new plans for a theme park called Tema Park in Istanbul. The park appears to be part of a wider development including flats and a shopping center. The flats and shops are already under construction although the park shows no ground work yet. Needles to say I am watching this park like a hawk at the moment Construction has started and is in full flow. But only a wild mouse on site at the moment. I've heard the Premier is being fabricated as we speak but I still have no idea on the Flip Coaster. It's an Intamin shuttle coaster. It's been known the are adding 3 coasters for a bit. The SFX coaster Intamins Flying Aces And an Intamin shuttle The intamin shuttle will have a spike which rises out of the center of the dome where the shot tower used to be.
