Right there with ya. Not a very thrilling attraction, but the views are amazing. If you look to your right the entire ride cycle it can be downright majestic. I like them too, but I don't know about the Harry Potter music.

I'm sure a couple of the older more used strippers will stop at Dorney after spending a good amount of time at another park first. I might have laughed too hard at this LMAO I can see them possibly buying Batman: the stripper from one of the six flags parks in a few years.

I'm going to disagree about the proximity. When I visited CP last year, it was a 12+ hour car ride, usually being very "efficient" with the speed. That's not close. I can't say anything about Kentucky but the point remains that there is a market here in the Twin Cities for VF to expand into, as demonstrated by the improvements to the MOA park. The only indication I think we'll see of an imminent coaster is the parking lot/toll booths being redone. I think he was talking about Kings Island.

Steel Venom

Well speaking for VF from 1996-2007 the park was showered with thrill rides and coasters which include: Wild Thing -very great addition at the time, Rip Cord - a great up charge attraction for any park to have, Mad Mouse - still a coaster, Power Tower - good drop tower with admirable height, Steel Venom - decent launch coaster, Xtreme Swing - amazing thrill ride, Renegade - One of the best GCIs out there. And CF bought the paramount parks in 2006. It makes sense to me.

^That's funny, but it would be a way better fit at VF. I agree with VF15 that relocating a 21 year old SLC won't happen. RFC and VF15's posts really changed my outlook on Cedar Fair. I wonder if the non paramount parks will be brought up to new levels.

I personally have not ridden an SLC but from what I have heard they are worse than arrow loopers. With this new opinion I will have to ride one to see what I think, but I still feel that any boring B&M is better than the best vekoma.

Yessssss!!!^^^ I think it is possible we will get an invert in the near future but we probably will sometime. I just feel like that is what VF needs and the people running it will consider it being our next coaster.

Because those two things are entirely unrelated and it's up to Cedar Fair's best discretion (which is better than yours and mine and everyone on this site) what will get them the best return on investment. And no, the state of Ohio is not "stealing" Canada's Wonderland's new coasters. Maybe it's a pattern. 2013 - Cedar Point New Coaster 2014 - Kings Island New Coaster 2015- Carowinds New Coaster 2016 - Cedar Point New Coaster 2017 - Kings Island New Coaster (If true) 2018 - Carowinds New Coaster ??? (I would love for this to be a wooden coaster if true) Did you even read what Password said? I don't think a pattern would get Cedar Fair the best return on investment. I could see it happening though.

I also disagree with the randomly planned out next five years for Cedar Fair where 2019 is "this park's year" and so on. It's mostly all fun and speculation though so carry on, I think that kind of stuff is fun actually. I just disagree with this particular case of it. Also that's too bad about the capacity on the new ride.

I'm not a fan of sports related coasters. Especially the Viking theme, that's just me though.

Perfectly said, really nice job, but this user comes here periodically to stir up chaos with a "joke". He did it two weeks ago, he has done it before that, he's doing it now, and he'll do it again. I can't react to this like I used to if it happens every two weeks . So this thread doesn't permanently stay on "WoF vs VF" I advise everyone ignore it.
