I can't be the only who thinks this concept is extremely gimmicky. Having just one rail won't change the ride experience, and before anyone says that it can enable less supports, the amount of supports required is the same amount as a B&M sit down. It seems that RMC has been a little gimmicky lately (world's fastest WOOD LAUNCH coaster).
Taron will have launches around 1.8g.
Where did you read 1.8? That's insane for an LSM; TTD, Xcelerator, and Kingda Ka don't even break 1.7. But I suppose it's possible, Dodonpa is 2.7...
I remember watching a documentary about hulk that said the launch was 2 g's.
If what you say is gonna be true, than Mako's drop will kinda be like Skyrush's drop in reverse (I heard Skyrush's drop has floater when it starts, and ejector at the end).
I can't wait to ride Mako. There should be a lot of airtime. I can't wait to see how the ending overbanks, and the hammer head (the first banked turn) will look like
One thing I don't get is why El Toro's drop looks larger than Mako's, despite the fact that Mako has a bigger drop.
Yes, I really don't like that feature on Google. There doesn't seem to be an option to say 'Closed', just 'Permanently Closed'. Winter Wonderland was 'Permanently Closed' for most of December despite the event obviously being open and I believe Islands of Adventure's Hulk is also classed as 'permanently' closed too.
I'm pretty sure that feature is from Wikipedia, not Google.
Mako preview for annual pass holders is in June. That means we should expect a early July opening of Mako if the preview is in late June, or a mid/ late June opening if the preview is in early/mid June.
