  1. That explains a lot more about Bryan than I ever thought I would know...
  2. If it was a photo edit, someone would just copy the DOT number with the logo.
  3. Well that confirms it. What do you have to say now, Tony?
  4. That's obviously photoshopped... the door is a different color around the text.
  5. Unsurprisingly, Tony has asked for the questions to stop: https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/Tidbits-and-Things?mobile=0
  6. Wasn't it known as the Rough Meandering Coaster before this?
  7. Woah woah woah. Pretzel loops are the best part of any flyer, especially those crap Superman clones. Don't take it away from me! I respectfully disagree. That happens to be the least enjoyable part of the ride for me. And after losing all the good flumes near me (GL & CP), that is never something you want to see a park remove.
  8. Here's the important bit...
  9. What's wrong with speculation? Or excitement? I don't see the harm in a conversation.
  10. Rumor has it that CF is not too happy with those Rocky Mountain Crane pictures.
  11. That reminds me. Does Sandusky or Erie county require detailed plans to be submitted, or does CP keep those on site?
  12. People are working on site all year. Those people send pictures to friends. Those friends share pictures to the internet. The internet looks for boats anyways.
  13. If anyone is looking for a boat, Camera 3 has been focused on the top of Mean Streak's lift.
  14. Are you equating "earlier" to "quicker" (which I read as "built faster")
  15. Meanwhile, from a marketing perspective, I think 2017 is more likely.
  16. ^ but Topper Track is manufactured and assembled at the factory. It isn't formed on site like we will see with Mystic Timbers. That wouldn't increase the timeline much, if at all. I don't think it's going to happen, as much as I'd like it to.
  17. I know it's a long time ago now, but Dragster wasn't announced until the tower was nearly completed. And the park hasn't announced anything inside CP for 2017, other than MS is gone.
  18. Or, they could potentially make a little more profit by announcing after the season, when they don't give away incentives and the price is higher.
  19. Since no one has mentioned it, RMC does general construction, including water parks. So it could be legit and still not mean anything. I'm sure someone will find out tomorrow.
  20. Rationally, if you're looking to draw the press in for a major announcement to anchor your "new for 2017" campaign and season pass renewals, would you announce the slide tower that probably costs less than a million dollars and some landscaping changes, or the new giant roller coaster for your self described "Roller Coaster Capital of the World" that costs exponentially more than $1 million dollars? If you are going to announce the water park in a way to gain excitement for the water park, would you also announce a new rollercoaster that would potentially dwarf the attention of the other park addition? Would you want to announce the water park after the new ride? How would you do it? Promise less, give more.
  21. Did I somehow imply that I knew the date of the announcement? Or the date of the new Frontier Town "maximus grandus" improvement(s)? I certainly don't remember doing either of those things. I just gave a rational reason as to why they wouldn't announce it in August, and why they wouldn't start work on the weekend.
