  1. yeah, i do agree. i have a xbox 360 premium of my own. it's not worth the upgrade since most of the components in the 360 elite aren't any different than the 360 premium and basic. MS could have introduced integrated wireless card and a hd-dvd drive if they wanted to drive the price up a little further. seeing that i have the premium 360, i see no reason to upgrade.
  2. yea, it is. i'm surprised cedarpoint allowed that to go on. anyways, cedarpoint was to allow public entrance to maverick in early june. i see they are quite early on their timing. i'm still excited to ride this in june.
  3. actually, yes. it can be used at anyother Six Flags themepark. just not as many as last year. it says in the fine print that it is valid at anyother park listed other then the home themepark
  4. wow. so that's what they were doing with Freefall. i got an answer out of an attendent stating that they were taking it down to get acrophobia back in business again. and as for deja vu. another valley. brings back old memories of when it first came to SFoG.
  5. oh please. a few years back, i was chickening out on most rollercoasters, inversion or no inversion. what i found to be helpful was to view onride videos. that way i wouldn't be as scared to board them. I'm still a litttle fearful of Riding goliath, but i just get on anyways.
  6. no matter how uncomfortable the restraints may be, the new technology that vekoma has, runs smoother. and yes, even if there are chances of it breaking down.
  7. well, that's vekoma for ya. this reminds me of what deja vu was like when that opened up on day 1. they both have had their problems remedied, but they still have their breakdowns. i'm in agreement with ya. i only wish they left x-flight where it was. from http://www.cincinatti.com, that wasn't x-flight. the coaster didn't have a corkscrew. i've had the experience to see that the only true inversion was the vertical loop. well, let's hope that KI will get some success out of this coaster.
  8. the loop in this woodencoaster is what made son of beast unique from anyother natural woodie. taking out the loop just makes it a coaster like anyother.
  9. the show was pretty decent. the people were friendly. had a chance to talk with b&m's lead designer for Goliath at sfog. zamperla should've brought disk-o this year. It was good. could be better. oh, joe, those were good pictures throughout the thread.
  10. wow 1.5 to 3 hrs? and now 15 minutes. must be the gold q-bot. regular q-bots go up to 2 hrs. from what i know of part of the time the long waits are due to someone ordering at the stall placed between the entrance and queue line.
  11. i just went the 15th. the lines there are still incredible. if you bring someone in a chair. there is no waiting. there's one catch to it. if the otherside lines are incredible, they lock the frontside of the train. the incredible lines are to be expected for a few weeks estimated. interesting superman ultimate flight didn't last this long.
  12. oh, the music for audio theming. yes, that is annoying. i was mentioning the layout theme for goliath at the entrance.
  13. when i mean themed, i meant the entrance to the queue line of goliath. it's themed. very well in my opinion.
  14. goliath at sfog is quite a strong coaster. the fact that it's super smooth. with those that say it's well-themed, i do agree. as for the lines, it will be long for awhile. superman: ultimate flight was that way when it opened up to the public.
  15. i know that goliath is supposed to have a lot of people there in attendence on the 1st. is there any chance they will remain there weather or no weather?
