  1. Great photos of a really nice looking family park. This and Story Land are two parks I would really like to visit. Thank you for sharing.
  2. Looks like a really nice park - thanks for sharing the photos.
  3. I am really excited for the future of Busch Gardens Tampa. If they move forward on their overall plans to turn the park(s) into a resort experience, I am sure Cobra's Curse will only be the beginning of more highly themed rides/experiences.
  4. Hopefully the park will see some real investment going forward. Closing the parking lot and moving the parking to the Pepsi center lots would really free up space. This park has the potential to become the American version of an urban Tivoli. Not sure it will happen, but one can hope.
  5. It will be interesting to see what the new owners will do with the park.
  6. I think it would be interesting to find out what numbers are estimates vs actual reported attendances.
  7. Wow, looks really good. Looking forward to learning more about this park in the future.
  8. Even better than expected. This looks like a great ride. Did they say if it would have a dark ride section, one of the drawings make it look like you go into a 'show building' when you leave the station?
  9. This looks great. Definitely will fill the 'family coaster' vacancy that they have. I am still hoping for a short dark ride section.
  10. Great job Holiday World. What an amazing park and staff.
  11. Should be a good addition to the park, they need a few more family oriented rides. I do hope it has a short dark ride section and a great indoor queue line. I would like to see them add a nicely themed splash battle next.
  12. Looks really good - knotts has really up their game over the last few years
  13. I would be surprised if it had a launch. The location of the station and the main ride area is separated by the train tracks. This would require the launch to be high enough to get over the track area (in a very compact place). I think we are looking at a family spin coaster from MACK along the lines of Sierra Sidewinder or Duervelwind at Toverland with a potential dark ride section. This would fill a missing need at the park to have a solid family coaster.
  14. I stopped by Busch Gardens this week and looked at the construction site. The train tracks are starting to be re/installed. What I did find interesting is they were laying several new utility lines along the train track area and out to the new coaster site. One of the new lines was a large blue pipe and looked like a water line. Just thought that was a little interesting.
  15. Great news. I think this sets up Sea World/Busch Gardens to have a very strong cross marketing effort. With both parks getting coaster additions. I can see it now (and they already do this - but this will give them even more opportunity), buy a multi-day SW/BG pass and ride Florida's two new coasters. Not a bad move. I am sure they will also see a nice uptick in their 3 park annual passes as well.
