I was there on Saturday, and I can confirm that Tatsu was running one station, at least in the morning. When I walked by the station later the line was out behind the soda counter. Two trains. That's interesting because I rode Tatsu twice on Saturday, once around 4:30 and again around 7:30, and both times they were using both stations and the line was only filling about 1/2 to 2/3 of the switchbacks. It was about a 35-45 minute wait. I saw it at ~12:00, so the line probably died down before you saw it

I need pictures! Anyway, even with no source, I hope this is the case. The all-white loop is such an iconic element that defacing it with blue would cause all sorts of uproar, and not just on TPR. But hey, they've got enough blue paint to paint it blue again after deciding that the all-white wasn't good enough

Took some photos when I was at the park on Friday and Tuesday. Riptide was the only ride closed on Friday, on Tuesday Montezooma and Surfside Gliders were closed. I rode Xcelerator 18 times combined during the visits. Xcelerator had a max 15 min line all day, both days. Rode it 18 times by the end of the second visit. Taken from Silver Bullet's station Lines were nonexistent both days I was there. Silver Bullet ran 2 trains, never broke a station wait. Maintenance on Surfside Gliders, Knotts' Larson Flying Scooters Boomerang looking pretty, riding ugly If you ever have the chance to marathon a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop in the back row, do it. I left after 9 runs, only because the park closed

I am going to Dickinson College for a couple of weeks during the summer. As any sane coaster enthusiast would, I am trying to fit at least one theme park into my trip. I am already aware of HersheyPark, Kennywood, and Knoebels, and would like to know if there is any other parks I do not know about. Any insight to which parks I should go to and travel arrangements is welcome. Thanks!

I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain today to process my Season's Pass and ride Twisted Colossus (Which broke down and later in line someone barfed in Orange Train), when I noticed crews painting The New Revolution. Here are some of the photos I took. The blue paint looks really good in my opinion. Station work and track painting Inside of station Blue supports!

None yet . But hopefully I can get around to processing my gold pass at SFMM and get some airtime-filled RMC goodness! Also dueling would be nice, if ops allow. -

I just happened to be browsing Intermark Ride Group's used coasters, and among the piles of Flitzers and Zyklons I found this set of Timberliner trains going for $550,000. Because of their color and their manufacturing date (2010), I was lead to believe that these were the Timberliners intended to be installed on The Voyage. Can anybody confirm or deny this? And if they weren't so pricey, I would totally buy the lead car as a piece of furniture.

Since Christmas is just around the corner, and I know some coaster enthusiasts (I'm using their account to post) who would totally enjoy a rollercoaster gift, what are some inventive, fun, or just plain cool rollercoaster gifts?

Hi Robb, Elissa, and others, Due to your experience with coaster trips, I decided that you were the best people to ask about the best itineraries for coaster trips that have a good combination of parks, culture, coasters, food, and fun! Also, I live in LA, with relatives in NoCal, so I've already done the West Coast Bash parks as well as CGA, SFDK, and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. So what trips worked well for you, with a good balance of everything. Thanks!

Game: Careful What You Wish For

2001 posts! Granted, but Twisted Colossus is down, X2 has a typical four hour line, and Tatsu is running one train. (typical day here) I wish I could coaster-marathon the east coast plus Cedar Point!
