  1. Yes, they're great! The Chicken Shack at Canada's Wonderland offers a wide range of wraps, burgers, and other things using chicken! I had also experienced the one at Kings Island back in July of 2014. It was good as well because they offer the same or similar products! I heard Dorneys isnt that bad. It has a line sometimes when i walk by there.
  2. I'm just guessing but I think it was probably something that they could do to stay ahead of schedule while they were waiting for the large crane to be shipped to the park I was thinking the same thing. They needed something to do while waiting on the larger crane to show up, this was something smaller, and closer to the ground that they could handle with the smaller cranes they had at the time. Never would of thought of that.
  3. Does anyone know why they would put the two small supports up that come after the immelmann?
  4. This is my mom.... it bothers me so much because she thinks that she will fall out. I tell her that they wouldnt make them like that if they werent safe. Not sure why she is still my mother.
  5. Saw this on Facebook. Didn't know this was happening.
  6. If you read carefully, where you saw hyper coaster is where the model type is. This is correct. (I edited that to make it more clear.) Nowhere did I see it classified as a hyper coaster. I was just wondering why they don't market it as a giga coaster?
  7. If you are are going mid may, when they open for daily operation, you shouldn't really need fast lane. Crowds arent bad at all. Just school trips. The longest wait was on top thrill and it was maybe 40 minutes or so but it also broke down while in line. Maverick and millennium were around 25-30. Raptor was almost walk on, rougarou was a walk on and gatekeeper was a 10 minute wait. I asked for advise last year and someone said that if you're staying on property, to use the early entry and get the most popular rides, like millennium, top thrill and maverick. Leave around 12 and go bak to your room and relax and eat. Go back in around 4, thats when all the schools are leaving. So lines go down a lot. That is what we did and it worked at perfect for us. We also did most of the flats when we came back in.
  8. I usually try to stay away from the poorly grammar reviews. Some of the good grammar ones are just stupid complaints like over price crap. And I believe some or most of them have been to great adventure. And I'm not getting in that discussion again.
  9. That is true. In all honesty I love amusement park good. That's one of the things I love about going. Yes I understand that stuff is over priced but that the world we live in. I haven't had a lot of bad experiences at parks other then the power going out at CP in may. You go for the fun and to make memories but people just see the worst in all of it. My favorite thing at work is hearing people say how Hershey and Great Adventure are better parks. Yes they are. So go to them.
  10. Okay, i need to go on a rant here. I was just reading some reviews on TripAdvisor of Dorney. And i usually read the bad ones just to see what bad experience people have at the park. (yes that is my first mistake.) Most of the bad reviews from this year are from when people visited on the busy days, and some are even from July 11th, which was the busiest day of the year (there was a group that had 9,500 pre sold tickets on top of the 20,000 that was expected to come.) Many people were complaining about how lines were long, and how that had to wait for food. Other very saying how cursing was a big thing in the park. Employees cant do anything about people using foul language. We will just get cursed at. Another thing is, you are going to an amusement park, yes it is going to be expensive. They complain about parking, 15 dollars is a lot, but it more at other parks. Food is expensive at all park you visit. I just don't understand that when you plan to go to a park on a saturday in the summer, you should expect it to be busy. They were also complaining about trash being everywhere in the park, now i've heard that DP is one of the cleanest parks in the company. Some of you may disagree, that is okay. People were saying how they had to park in the overflow lot and had to walk a log distance to the enterance of the park, they said 30 minutes but i doubt that. Well of course you are going to sit in traffic and park in the overflow lot when it is a saturday in july/august and the park is one way inbound all day. I started to read some of parks like CP and WDW just to see what people said about them. Those werent as bad as i thought. Im sorry, this is completely random and unnecessary. I just had to get it off my chest, and to see what other have to say about the park. Rant over
  11. Me and my friends went back in may, and we left the park and went to the near by Steak N Shake.
  12. Yes. I strongly suggest upgrading to the Season Pass as soon as you get there as it's a great deal. The best thing about it is that it's valid at all Six Flags parks. As soon as you process the pass, leave immediately (no need to get a handstamp) and get on I-95 North and go to Great Adventure. Yes, it is the Dorney of the Six Flags chain, at least in that respect. Sounds wonderful!
  13. So there are usually no lines there? Im planning on taking a day trip to the park in early june.
  14. There is Time Warp, the holdover Zamperla flyer from the Paramount days at Canada's Wonderland. After DP taking Stinger, Possessed, & Demon Drop...hold your breath! Stinger was not a good thing to the park. IMO. The ride is closed way more than opened. Possessed and demon drop were wonderful for the park. Stinger can go.
  15. Does any other cedar fair park have a flying coaster? Because I thought a flying coaster would fit in at DP after Dino alive leaves. BOAT!!!!
  16. Either Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at MK or Expedition Everest at AK. Diamondback wouldnt be to bad either.
  17. Im sorry! Trying to keep high hopes for the boat!
  18. I would imagine that the boat will not return until May. More than likely is dry docked for the winter.
  19. That first one is just amazing.
  20. Cedar point from their beach is very pretty.
  21. That last one is awesome!!! Here are a few more from Dorney. The first two are not my photos. I found them on google many moons ago. But the last one is mine. I took tha the summer of 2014 at work. This is one of my favorites. Steel force Talon looking from the waterpark.
  22. Wow those photos are breath taking!!! Absolutely beautiful. And yes Dorney is beautiful! Right by the whip and three point challenge is a prime spot for photos!
