  1. is HHN sold out already? Everytime i put in a date or amount to buy a ticket it wont let me put it in my cart! And it wont let me put a frequent fear pass in the cart either! is it already sold out!?
  2. Yeah i noticed that too. On almost all the coasters (except Comet,Great Bear, and Storm Runner). Then again it was probably due to the fact that not alot of people were in line.
  3. Trust me, that picture is of the Hershey School lol. Oh yeah if any of you are planning to go to Hersheypark, I suggest that you all head straight for the Boardwalk becuase we had problems finding lockers and everything. Plus there are barely any lounge chairs to sit on, and the line for the slides was horendous (i think thats spelled wrong).
  4. the ride was insane! After we got up the lift hill I realized that the tracks looked kinda rusty on the turns so that kinda freaked me out. Then we kept going faster, and faster, and faster, and i kept slamming into Jason like he was my own airbag lol It was fun though lol
  5. Since I am moving to Orlando Florida (hells yeah!) in September, this summer i am pretty much going to all the near-by theme parks/amusement parks. P.s. I'm moving to Florida to go to Full Sail University so i can become a director and make kick-ass movies that don't suck! First up is Hersheypark! Yay! Since we went on a Wednesday (May 30th), the park was not too crowded. Of course there were the expected school kids (my god how many schools have to go to one park at the same time?). Anyways, It was still a fun day, we got on EVERYTHING except a few minor rides. Let's start it off! Booyaa! Oh P.s I kind of uploaded the pictures in the wrong order. I would redue it but there are so many pictures! Just go to the bottom and scroll up i guess :/ Hershey school! You can kinda see the "Welcome to Hershey" on the grass in front of it Uh oh....school bus Luckily the park didn't open yet. The lines to get in wern't too bad. Lots of people my age though. You can kinda see a walking reese's cup in the distance Jen. Jason, and Chris. Usually i bring atleast seven of my friends to parks, but this time most of them couldnt Me on the left and my biotch Jen on the right. Bff! 100 years of making kids fat. However with all the STEEP hills and stairs, we easily burned off anything we ate Waiting to buy tickets and enter the park of sweetness and wonder. I really hate waiting in lines. I am such a prick when it comes to waiting in lines Jason and Jen walkin towards Great Bear. The line was HUGE during the middle of the day. We rode it later in the day when there was (i swear to god) no line. We rode in the front (first for me) and i had an orgasm too Great Bear lookin all seductive off in the distance. Short lift, big drop Coal Cracker is a wierd flume ride. Half the ride the boat doesn't even float, it kinda rolls down the flume. The little speed bump at the bottom of the final drop is pretty cool though Great Bear and SooperDooperLooper entangled in a passionate affair Enjoy your lame ending! Eating at the Kraftbarn Kitchen in Founder's Circle. Jen is inhailing a sandwhich. Jason being a bad ass romantic. Contradictory? I think not Chris trying to seduce me with food. It's like an orgy of thrilling wonder Jen, Jason, and Chris walking toward the COMET old school coaster. No line! Old school breaking on the COMET. I was pretty scared to go on this. After all, the lift hill is askew and i was barley in my seat the whole ride! Sidewinder aka Vekoma's minor concusion ride. Everytime i ride this i blackout on the loop going backwards. (i always sit in the very back) I don't know why, I'm pretty stupid. Surprisingly i didn't black out this time. Could be becuase there were only ten people on the ride... Storm Runner is a quick ride but it's worth it. Phallic images mmmmm The wild mouse of doom. This is the fastest, most out of control wild mouse i have EVER been on. They don't break until the very end! The once entrance to TIDAL FORCE. Now you enter near Canyon River Rapids. This area still leads to the queue building, but now its just for show. Todal Force is a kick ass ride. You go up, you turn, you drop 100 feet, and you make a HUGE splash. We didn't get to ride this since the line was packed in the queue house. I've never seen that before! The New Boardwalk! Memorabilia from Ocean City, Wildwood, and Coney Island are scattered all throughout this place. Sandcastle cove or something for the young kids Looking down the Boardwalk toward Roller Soaker aka lame ride with hour wait. NATHAN'S HOT DOGS! East Coast Waterworks aka the largest freakin waterplay structure in the United States. Right now Texas is pissed. This fortress has TWO dump buckets. The larger one dumps so much water at such a great force that when i was underneath it, my trunks nearly ripped off my body! We only went on the toilet bowl slide which kicked major ass. Too bad i was blinded by the surging water half the ride. Ferris Wheel offers a great view of the new area Water slide goodness. random people going under a waterfall on Canyon River Rapids. One of the best rapids rides out there (Popeye's Bilge-rat Barges is still # 1) Canyon River Rapids gives everyone a happy ending (in more than one way) This area is nothing but water rides now. Canyon Rapids, Tidal Force, and ride that has too long of a wait for such a lame ride (roller soaker) Am I in Disney World? Where am I? mmm skin cancery goodness at Taco Bell Chris was so hungry he didn't even bother looking Jason's face after seeing my danger zone I dont know what kinda look this is...I look high or something; must be the magic tacos!
  6. Why is everybody so pissed about this? I think it would be a great installment to an already great park. From everything I have read and looked at so far, I have come to the following conclusions. 1.) Dueling Dragons and Flying Unicorn will be rethemed, big deal, as long as they dont replace or change the tracks. 2.) There will be TWO NEW ATTRACTIONS. The first will be placed on the undeveloped land between flying unicorn and Jurassic park. (which kinda sucks since now Jurassic Park only has room for one more attraction between JPRA and Ripsaw falls.) The second will be built on the employee parking lot behind Dueling Dragons. (with all the future resort changes, they will prob built a massive parking garage for employees anyways). The way they get you there is by boarding the hogwarts train (look at the painting) and it will take you to the new attraction. I do not know which will be the kuku robotic arm ride, but it will probably be at the employee parking lot site (ron weasly's magic car themed ride would be better suited there instead of Hogwarts anyways.) Posiedon and sinbad wont be replaced. I dont really know what to think of that. Well I guess its better to add more rides than replace them? They are ok attractions i guess, Lost Continent would be the smallest island and probably lamest then after this new change. Oh well. Suck it Disney
  7. I don't understand, so where is Canyon River Rapids' new entrance? is it closer to Rodeo now? I can't really tell from the picture.
  8. Ok lets see, if it took 100 million to turn King Kong into ROTM (and that was a MAJOR change), it should only take maybe $30 million to transform BTTF into whatever its going to be. I mean, all they are going to do is change the film, update the ride systems and retheme the building. That leaves about $90 million dollars to spend on the rumored Harry Potter ride (I highly doubt they will retheme Lost Continent, why replace something that already works?) so they will most likely spend the remaining money on the harry potter ride and the obvious Blue Man group (which isnt very expensive compared to theme park rides, all they are doing is refurbishing a theater). USO President Bill Davis, I love you! Hopefully this will save USO!
  9. Isn't It interesting that the water splash section happens to be directly below the section of track right after the first immelman? I'm sensing some water splash surprises!
  10. I thought Disney was going to biuld a potter theme park due to the western passage thingy being built? Honestly......i would rather have an entire theme park based off of potter then a simple land. How would you be able to fit the world of Harry potter in the lost continent? As long as they dont touch dueling dragons im all good.
  11. Ok, every enthusiast should know a few proverbs when it comes to theme parks and roller coasters. (Besides, the're something to laugh about during the winter Here are just a few... 1.) When sinful enthusiast dies, they ride "It's a small world" for eternity... 2.) Fat person having trouble with harness make ACE member hostle... 3.) Everytime a snow flake falls, an enthusiast sheds a tear... 4.) One who rides Vekoma feels raped all day long... 5.) Disney World: The Most Magical Place on Earth...Your Money Disapears... 6.) Ace member who rides kiddie coaster feel like whore... Those are just a few. This shows how bored I am Come up with some others and post em!
  12. This is pretty interesting. Busch Gardens Europe (which is practically next door) is getting their MAJOR roller coaster Griffon (which is just going to blow everyone away) so it seems practical for King's Dominion to do SOMETHING to compete against BGE. Personally, i think that the current wave pool is crap. The waves arn't really waves, the're just swells. Hopefully this new wavepool will have acutally waves on par with Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool. Wont it be wierd to have two wave pools in one water park? they are probably going to get rid of the current one and put something else there as the new wave pool gets settled in.
  13. I would have to say six flags america. Its like the old and originl section of the park is fine...but then the new section (Gotham City) is just a field with rides scattered in. Everything was so gross there. Another was this time i went to paramount kings dominion...now i love pkd...but i went in the summer and it was sooooo crowded. In the first 6 hrs i went on 4 rides. Volcano's line went all the way out to the volcano sign at the begining of the volcano/tomb raider/ avalance area! (tomb raider is beside it now)..it was like a 5 hour wait!!!!It let me down big time.
  14. It's hard to only have one favorite water ride, i mean there are such different water rides to choose from. As for my favorite types... Favorite log flume: Splash Mountain DL (Great themeing) and Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls(the drops are amazing and you get completely soaked. Favorite Rafting ride:Hersheypark's Canyon River Rapids (just when you think you survived from getting wet...they hit you with like 4 waterfalls) and Popey bilge rat barges because of the crazy ending after the lift hill) Favorite other: Journey to Atlantis (seaworld orlando) and Hersheypark's Tidal Force becuase it makes one of the biggest splashes i have ever seen.
  15. I would have to say the Matterhorn at Disneyland. Living on the east coast, i still knew about the matterhorn and how it was one of the first steel coasters. Well when me and my family (and friends) went to DL, we descided to go on it. I didnt really think it would be that intense, i mean the mountain is huge...but what could you really do in the space? WELL...me parents and their LARGE freinds got into the bobslelds with me in the very front. Not only were we an extremely heavy set car, but it was also nighttime! We FLEW down the track in nearly pitch darkness. It was probably one of the greatest/scariest rides if ever experienced! Harold is awesome
  16. me and my freinds decided to go this coming saturday...yes we are out of our minds lol if its crowded, im going to be such a prick the whole time (i hate waiting in lines) but it will still be fun becuase my friends are gonna be there....plus i get to go on EL TORO for the first time...that is if it works
  17. i just got word on HHN (yes this is unrelated...well maybe related) that Universal Studios Orlando has already sold 50,000 tickets already for tommorow (saturday)...oh sweet jesus what is the theme park world COMING TO!!!?
  18. thanks for all the comments guys. I guess i should really talk this whole saturday thing over with my friends. But if i go on a friday, will i still be able to go on all the rides even though the park hours are shorter than on a saturday?
  19. I dont know about you but that is a scary number for a theme park goer. How would anyone be able to go on ANYTHING with 40,000 people crammed in the park? I am planning to go to SFGADV on the 28th for fright fest and i am really scared about high attendance. Was anyone there on the 14th? What was this hell like?
  20. all i know is that there are huge lots of unused land on both sides of JPRA. The lot inbetween the flying unicorn and JPRA is the largest, and could house another Spiderman building! (thats hot big it is). The other lot inbetween JPRA and ripsaw falls is probably large enough for a cat in the hat sizd building. So if they are going to build the jeep tours...it would most likely be between JPRA and flying unicorn. one can only hope source-google earth
  21. Ive been planning a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure: Fright Fest for the end of the month (28th). I have been to Six Flags America's Fright Fest, but since they have decided to go "family friendly", i descided to go to the better park Great Adventure. Yes i've been there before but i have no idea what to expect for Fright Fest. I read the website info but it doesnt really explain what each attraction is. Are there scare zones like HHN? Is the terror trail or hayride actually scary or is it hokie? what should i do first? Since it will be the last saturday night for Fright Fest, will it be packed there? Basically what I am asking is if this will be a descent halloween event lol help me!
  22. I can see why space mountain is a favorite (because well....its a classic) but i have been on both and i have been disaponted on both versions (WDW and DL) I mean WDW's is basically falling apart becuase its so old and DL's had way too many right turns. It was too predictable. Plus, FOF is a really great ride....but the one thing keeping it from my number one position is that half way during the ride you basically stop on the mid-way break section...and THEN you complete the rest of the ride. I have no idea why they do that! It's pointless! so revenge of the mummy florida takes the cake!
  23. My Bad Yeah Revenge of the Mummy's first Drop / Launch really slams you to the side. But i love being roughed up a bit.
  24. Now I equally love all types of roller coasters...however my favorite type happens to be Indoor, Dark roller coasters. Space Mountain, Revenge of the Mummy, Flight of Fear, Rock'n Rollercoaster...etc. I love them all....but the question is.....which one do you consider to be the superior!? Its a tie with me. Revenge of the Mummy (rib cracking first drop goodness) and Flight of Fear (ah yes the support structure of doom ) Discuss! ADMIN EDIT: humungous photo removed
