I've never ridden a Volare. Are they really as bad as people make them out to be?
The transitions suck, the brakes stop you too fast, etc.
They really are that bad.
As much as I love Leviathan and Behemoth, my all-time favourite has to be the Mighty Canadian Minebuster at Canada's Wonderland. After all these years, it is still one of the best roller coasters in the park.
I was born in 1999. There are some pretty good coasters from that year.
IMO, they are:
3. Dragon Challenge (IoA)
2. Incredible Hulk (IoA)
1. Tremors (Silverwood)
Personally, I like B&M more. As stated before, they are more reliable and have great capacity. Even if they are 'forceless', they are still fun to ride. I still love Intamins though.
I don't get around much.
Or at all.
The one new one I rode was WMG. It was a bit of a letdown, but you gotta love the drop track!
From what I've seen and heard, Banshee and Lightning Run seem to be the best this year. They are amazing rides!
