Question for Season Pass holders: How bad are the crowds on pass holder early ride days? I've never taken advantage of this when a new ride opens and I'm trying to decide if I should do it or not.

This incident is gonna change everything. Metal detectors and pat downs are coming.

Batman looks to be extremely short from that POV. A lot shorter than I thought it'd be.

How is that a mistake from day one? It's just my opinion....I've never been a big fan of the ride.. I rode it once in 09, and again in 2010, both times i had back pain afterwards. I've skipped it every other time I've gone. Maybe it's gotten better since then. Not a fan of all the brake runs either. I think it was a mistake because it doesn't also seem like it fits in the park as far as the theme goes. It's just there. I'm glad you guys enjoy it though.. to each their own.

That's cool you live in Texas, so do I. Yes I know people are excited and I'm perfectly fine being in the small group of people who aren't. But lets say I went to Fiesta Texas this weekend and set up a booth with 2 videos: One showing Thunderbird, the other one showing Batman. If the general public had a choice of which one comes to the park, I bet 100% of them would choose Thunderbird, hence why I said I'd rather have that "boring" B&M coaster.

When you walk into a Six Flags gift shop, look around, and immediately get sad because you realize you're not at Disney World anymore.

Goliath. The world doesn't need another roller coaster named "Goliath". Dear Six Flags. Stop it. Madusa Steel Coaster is a pretty terrible name as well.

I can't wait for this. And Oculus Rift support is a must.

It may in fact be a much better version, but I myself am not big fan of that coaster style. So I'm personally disappointed.

As am I. It almost looks exactly how I pictured it would.

Why? Insane shows how amazing this type of ride can be and I think the S&S offering could actually be an improvement - updated layout and forcing the ride to flip in certain places. Just watch the TPR video on it. Looks awesome. You're right, and it probably will end up being awesome. I'm just not really a fan of the that style coaster, and all I can picture right now is a black ZacSpin with the Batman logo on it.

As disappointed as I'll be to get a coaster with a ZacSpin layout, I guess it's better than getting a State Fair Super Loop. Shame on you Six Flags.

I seriously doubt it's the Time Machine simply because the space allotted is much too small. Whatever it is, it better be a big deal though, considering it'll be the "Biggest announcement in Fiesta Texas History"

Hey everyone, Huge theme park fan here. Long time visitor to this site, and finally registered. Originally from South Carolina, my first park was Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where I rode my first coaster, the Big Bad Wolf. Currently Military, formely stationed in Mass, Florida, and now Texas. I've been to a few Six Flags parks, but my true love is Orlando (WDW and UO). We'd go at least 3-4 times a year. To those who have not been down there, you owe it to yourselves to visit. We're already planning our next trip (Jan 2015) Favorite Coaster: Hulk, Universal Orlando

I love Spiderman and Transformers, but as far as dark rides go, Revenge of the Mummy (Orlando version) tops them all. This ride is absolute perfection. There's never a long wait, so we ride 2 or 3 times in a row on every visit. 2nd favorite: Haunted Mansion, WDW

Mind Eraser, SFNE. Worst coaster experience I've ever had. My head still hurts from when I rode this thing a decade ago.
