  1. Got five rides on RSR today, Single rider line is a huge time saver! Nothing blew me away and I can totally see how some people would not consider this an E ticket or a kids E Ticket. The ride felt like it was missing something. Fun ride, but not Disneys best like some are making it out to be. Still prefer Tower, Indy, Space, Splash, and Thunder Mountain over RSR. Glad I didn't have to wait more than an hour for this. Oh, and Maters Junk Yard Jamboree, what a fun ride! Was not expecting much from this but was very surprised on how much that ride whips you around.
  2. The renewal window is 40 days. I wish it were 60 days like WDW.
  3. The 17th-19th and 24th-28th of this month is going to be crazy busy, as those are the last remaining days that SoCal annual pass holders are able to visit the parks before they get blocked-out for the summer. And August 20th is going to most likely be another "opening day" crowd as Southern California and Southern California Select passes become un-blocked. I don't think the crowds will be THAT bad mid week in July after the 4th. But if you are planning to visit once this year mid week September is the best time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort.
  4. Here are a few photos from the Kings victory parade. This is the first victory parade I have ever been to. The Crowd Local news was out in full force as were the police Bailey Dry Island The Cup and Johnathan F**cking Quick! LUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCC Foxy, you know hes loving this! Sutter doing his fist pump Time to head inside for the fan rally. Tickets for this event were free and was sold out within 5mins of being made available. Unfortunately, quite a few ticket brokers took full advantage. Some people I heard payed up to $400 for a ticket to this event. I was one of the lucky one to get a ticket for free. line to get into Staples Rally Towel The View from my seat The Clarence Campbell Bowl The Conn Smythe The Cup Time to make room for two more! It was a very fun event. The most memorable part for me was seeing the Stanley Cup for the first time in person and Quicks drunk speech were he said "fu*K" three times on live TV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lAJnq6Ct6c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfPAGIovc5A Who knows when this will happen again! Go KIngs Go!
  5. ^Gang banging teddy bear? At least the park knows their clientele.
  6. I'm soo happy I was able to pick up a single. It took me 5mins of spamming the Ticketmaster website at 6pm. And to my surprise, Ticketmaster didn't tack on any of their ridiculous fees! So it was truly a free event! And I bet a lot of those season ticket holders are really ticket brokers, not legit fans.
  7. ^It works exactly like Disneys E-tickets. You will get an email with a barcode and when you get to the turnstile you hand the cast member your phone to scan the barcode. The turnstile will print out a physical ticket that is compatible for the Fastpass machines and park hopping.
  8. I would much rather see the park give Revolution the Steel Phantom/Phantoms Revenge treatment to the ride than new trains for a mediocre ride. Could you imagine a Intamin blitz coaster that used the best aspects of Revolution (Station, ramp to the loop, loop, and tunnel). Sigh, one can only dream. As long as Six Flags is running the park, Revolution will never get new trains.
  9. Indy is STILL having issues! The rolling ball effect wasn't working on my two rides last week! At least they fixed the door effect that has been broken for the past year.
  10. Hasn't the park said that the announcement for Log Jammers replacement would come on July 4th? I could have sworn I read that somewhere.
  11. ^The "before and after" photos were hilarious! Journalism at its finest.
  12. Remove the Gibson Amphitheater and move the Studio Tour load and unload to that patch of land in between the first and second set of escalators to the lower lot. That frees up a lot of land for this expansion and keeps the possibility open for a remote expansion like the OP suggested. That's how I would do it
  13. Well you knew this was coming. Starting June 3rd a one-day, one-park ticket will cost $89/$83 and a park hopper will cost $124/$118. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/walt-disney-world-resort-ticket-prices-2012/
  14. ^Nope, the Kings currently hold the record for most consecutive road wins in any one playoff season. Oh, east coast media and fans, meet Anze Kopitar! That was one heck of a goal in OT by him.
  15. I'm surprised to see Magic Mountain pull close to 3 million people. I always thought they struggled to get at least 2 million into their park.
  16. They look exactly like the restraints used on Sky Rush.
  17. ^USH version has sets. From the videos I've seen of the Singapore version it looks exactly the same as Hollywoods version.
  18. The Stanley Cup Final will be The Los Angeles Kings vs The New Jersey Devils.
  19. ^Indiana Jones in its current condition is (IMO) not better than Transformers. I can't remember the last time the door effect on Indy worked, or the countless amount of rides where there was no fire or the audio just cut out mid ride. Indiana Jones is in desperate need of a rehab and perhaps if it ever dose get one, it will be better than Transformers.
  20. I got to ride last week and this ride is nothing short of AWESOME! So happy to see Universal invest some serious money into USH and give the park a blockbuster attraction it so desperately needed. Transformers has replaced Indiana Jones as the best dark ride in SoCal. Can't wait for Potter!
