  1. I agree and disagree on Wahoo River. The only disagreement is on thinking it is about the same as last year. It is most definitely longer, AND actually moves along. The amount of effects were pretty pitiful; that is very true. Lol,...I liked the wave generator. Thought it was just enough for the ride. Kind of makes me wonder if they are 'truly' done. I need to go back to the announcement. How many features was it supposed to have?
  2. Yeah, the foam party at SFA was great, too. I give to whoever thought to do that.
  3. Yes, the area around the river will be spruced up, with additional elements also. I'll take pics when the grand opening happens on Thursday. The slide complex is working. Must have been broken just that day.
  4. Yup, I saw the river. Looking forward to Thursday, when they'll have it all finished.
  5. Not including this year, I like their shows. The blacklight show is not there this year. Most people love that one. I enjoyed it.
  6. I'm one who has no issue with it. Ride in front.
  7. SFA is finally in the 4's on Google. Stayed in the 3's for years. Just thought I'd share. Found out while looking for park hours.
  8. I've also noticed that Mind Eraser at SFA only has one train now. And if I had a poop load of money . . . . I'd buy new trains for the ride; or go the Morey's route and do a re-tracking. That is interesting. During Fright Fest ME can get quite the line and they usually use both trains. I wonder if one is being refurbished. I hope this doesn't get the boot any time soon. I personally really enjoy SLC's a lot. You and me both.
  9. It does sound unrealistic but if the person is flying between parks then its completely doable. All of these parks are within a few hours of a national airport. But it says he's driving...I bolded that in his quote. Even if he was flying, Dorney/Gadv and SFA/KD are not doable in one day. SFA/KD means I-95 traffic at the very least. He was able to get all of the parks up until Thursday. Traffic wasn't an issue. He threw in the towel after SFA and KD. Said finances were running low, and some other issue. I got to meet him, at least.
  10. Excellent report! I'm actually a pretty damn big Disney Park fan. I know my way around the park like it's my home park. I'm looking forward to the Animal Kingdom report, especially your thoughts on Avatar. The attraction is unbelievable. Did you get to go to Downtown Disney? I haven't hit Universal in about 15 years. May get to it next year.
  11. Excellent. Hopefully you'll have the chance to get a couple of flats in next time. I was over in the waterpark.
  12. Check this out. If anyone is on the page, Amusement Park Enthusiasts, find this post: 'Tonight, I am heading to Cincinnati to Kings Island, Tuesday will be Cedar Point, Wednesday will be Dorneypark & Six Flags Great Adventure, ThursdayCarowinds,Friday Six Flags America & Kings Dominion, Saturday Six Flags Great America, Sunday, possibly Valleyfair, Monday Six Flags St Louis. And I am driving to all those theme parks.' When you see his route, you'll say, no way! The post has many comments.
  13. Right on time. I'm finally getting up there tomorrow. I need to be flogged for not taking the 2h 45min trip in all of these years. Well, I came for HITP once, but as you all know, quite a bit is closed. Looking forward to getting the rest of the credits. Going to reride all of the HITP coasters, except GL and DK. Everything else will be my first time. Can't wait to see GAdv's JL. I messed up last time, and didn't ride back seat in Skull Mountain. Will redeem myself tomorrow. I would like one recommendation. What are your opinions on the best place/s to eat (dining pass)? I'll eat anything that is edible, except cole slaw. Writing this has reminded me to put my cup in the car NOW. I forget it alot when I go right around the corner to SFA. Warning: If El Toro is closed, I'm going to burn the place down.
  14. According to the newsletter, Wahoo will not be ready. Dry side will be good to go early on. Not including Batwing, no more than 10-15 minute waits. After about 4, you can hang it up. Some rides will be 25 minutes, plus.
  15. Last year the lot filled all of the way to the very back. It was loaded. First time I had ever seen it like that.
  16. Thanks. Guess I'd do better with the $38 tickets on base.
  17. Help me out. What kind of friend discounts does the KD gold pass give? Free some days? 50% off? Thanks for the help.
  18. Lol,.. I understand, but that's what 'extreme milkshakes ' are supposed to look like. It's a new craze going around. They are met to look like monstrocities.
  19. Wait a minute. Did you really mean 47 times?
  20. Lol, nah they got it right, but Grizzly would be a solid #2 to get a RMC treatment. Looking forward to getting to the park very soon to ride TT. Oh, the loudest lift hill goes to Batwing at SFA. Maybe, just because your head is right next to three chain. Thanks for the info!!
  21. WILL be trying one of those this year. Probably costs 20 bucks..lol
  22. Lol,..to be his day, Volcano is my favorite coaster.
  23. There are going to be some growing pains with that biometric. He had to type every number from my card.
