  1. Nah, not FF. Can't be. They are not 'announcing' on the 16th, just telling us what's closing. I'm guessing of course.
  2. May not even be for Apocalypse. Just something to throw you off. That Grim Reaper's first stop was there last year though....muhahaha
  3. Lol, no one on this entire site better not be butthurt if they go floorless. People have been advocating it for years.
  4. Has anyone tried to put together the 1,000 from the first video with the 2? Seems they are showing a lot of 2's. The watch, the 2 slides, two girls on each side, etc.
  5. Did you get to ride it? I know that I'm late, but the SF app says it's open.
  6. ^^So a mixture of a coaster and water slide?..hmm..I keep wondering if the girls were holding those cans the way they were holding them for a reason? I know. Looking to much into this. Let me have my fun.
  7. I hope you are right. Maybe another clue next week.
  8. Was Firebird or Firehawk one of the names on the survey? It sounds familiar.
  9. The 'last chance for thrills' and the circled date is what intrigues me most. What is that eagle glued on? Almost like they are paying homage to Iron Eagle? Hmm.. let's have some fun with this.
  10. Lame? I think it is a pretty good start, with some possible clues in it. Also, you will not know what the actual red herrings are until the announcement.
  11. I too really like Mind Eraser in the front. I'm one of the few who do not get torn up by the ride.
  12. There are quite a few more on that FB site.
  13. Had to log in to FB. Forgot my PW...lol.. As for the pics, I'm intrigued.
  14. Is anyone in the park today? There are a boat load of markings behind the stage not being used, all of the way to the entrance of the kid section. Also, to the other smaller stage used for block party. Well, used to be for block party. Also, there are markings near Roar and in Coyote Creek, near the Saloon. Those seem not that important though. The ones behind the stage/ in front of the train station are plentiful. If I had to guess, from end to end, it is about 280-300 feet. A lot of painted lines, but there are mostly dots all over the place. Lol, the day that I leave my phone in the car. I'll take pics if I come back today or tomorrow.
  15. Yup, ops and service are fine. Only take it from one who goes a lot. I know that Shipwreck Falls was getting some type of repair to the bottom of the lift. Don't know why the others were closed. That's weird that only the water attractions are closed.
  16. A or B wouldn't be 'the new ride'. It would be something that they do extra. I bombed badly with last year's guess...lol..,.but what type of enthusiast would I be if I didn't. Top three guesses: 1. Skywarp 2. Raptor 3. Spinsanity (I'll be butt hurt).
  17. Lol,,.dont know about that. I kinda see what you mean, but it is a lot different. Vast improvement over the last one. Do not know how much it cost. Not sure I buy their claim on more deck space. Also, a little salty that the stage is gone. I enjoyed when they had music and events up there.
  18. I wouldn't be shocked if we see a lot more, both with sports and local landmark themes.
  19. LOL, been hearing a lot of belly aching about the name. The ride, the newly themed area is perfect. They'll sale more tickets and passes, just from people (many Steelers, and football fans) wanting to see/ experience an area like that. Can you imagine the bar area? I didn't read all of the way yet. Is there going to be a bar?
  20. They are waiting for a part. That is all.
  21. Honestly, I'd take a quieter lift bill chain.
  22. Can someone provide some photographic evidence of crowds at this park? I'm being serious. Lol,next time I go. I'll do it at various locations. Actually has been very crowded lately (overall). I measure by the parking lot.
  23. On a Tuesday, it's going to be reride heaven. I disagree with there being 'no' notable flats. I'm one who does like the fireball. If you've ridden one of the loops, then nevermind. All of the other flats, you've probably ridden already somewhere else. Most notable though is the drop tower. I've been on my share of towers. The one at SFA is pretty small in comparison to others, but it provides one of the 'sharpest drop feelings' that I've experienced.
  24. If anyone is keeping track, MAXX Force and West Coast Racers were trademarked by SF.
