Everyone with this upgraded kid's area..lol..Those two areas are fine. What I believe that you are definitely right about is the water coaster. I think that is in 2018. Right now, I'm going to enjoy the Lasso, and the other upgrades that will come next year. we thought that KD's kids area was perfectly fine, but we all know what happened lol. But I can see a water coaster replacing penguin in 2018. 2017 should be a good year, especially if wild one's 100th birthday is acknowledged. A water coaster can't replace Penguin. The coaster is a water park ride (need bathing suits).

I don't think that's completely out of the realm of possibility... a lot of games/food options in that general area and it would open the possibility of using Gotham Arena for some sort of HITP show of some sorts... just sort of make a barricade right at Joker's Jinx... Exactly. Yes there is one kid's area (Movietown), but seems it would be a waste to not include Whistlestop. We're talking about Christmas here! Plus, they have an entire arena back in Gotham that they could use for a show. Also, for anyone that has a 'set', ride the Sky Coaster in the cold...lol.

I think corporate is pushing for them to have at least some of Gotham open for HITP (mostly to have some more of the headline coasters open). While it's doubtful that any of Gotham will be open for HITP this year, if the event is successful enough, Gotham would be the most reasonable location to expand the event to in 2017. If that's the case, they would surely open back to at least Superman and any of these options would then be viable. I still think there is a slim chance that Gotham (really Whistle Stop Park) will be open for HITP; just not any of the rides open (JJ, S:ROS, Batwing).

Agreed. A lot of us here know that they do 3 to 5 year plans. The park has: re-themed a section, which is great; New paint and signs throughout the park; Spruced up the kids area's with new paint (that's why Boomtown and DC Super Friends would have been a ridiculous upgrade. Those two kid areas are already very good for what they are); water park has received two new attractions; and now a very much needed Sky Screamer (which will add to the character of the park). Also, there are more 'improvements' to come for next year. Now,...the park is poised for a big attraction.

Yeah, that's what I don't know. Wouldn't be shocked if they put it where High Seas is currently located (Chesapeake). That ride has been closed all year. From that location you'll be able to see the entire park from the flyer. If they put it in Gotham, where they SHOULD put it, You'll see mostly trees from a 1/4 to a half while you are swinging, with the park on the other 1/2 to 3/4 of it. Maybe this is a clue on its location: -WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth will join SUPERMAN Ride of Steel, Batwing and JOKER’s Jinx in offering thrilling experiences based on the world famous DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains- So, if they put it in Chesapeake, you'll get breathtaking views of people getting their ears smashed up on Apocalypse. Other options include the old Sky Escaper pad or the old Ferris Wheel pad. I doubt they would use the old Escaper location. That stage is right across from it, and they like that area for Fright Fest...a lot. They Ferris Wheel pad is in the front of the park. That location would be great.

Looking forward to tomorrow, especially if what I know holds. If not, I really hope it's not one of those cat woman whip rides. Well, whatever it is, I'll make the best of it. What I'm really hoping for now is a very thorough HITP this year. Can't wait to discover more light wrapped trees this weekend!
