  1. I always wondered that myself, but never really thought about that the drop structure may be an integral part of the mountain. May not be cost effective to take it down, then reinforce with other infrastructure just for the sake of taking it down.
  2. Lol,..out of those 11, 3 will be me and my two daughters. Seriously though, you'll be fine. Last year was the busiest year I've seen it though,...overall. Never know this year. Might be 22 people.
  3. Ha ha...maybe. That thing has a line most days though.
  4. I would say we 'finally' got a good dump, but Ragin Cajin is a hit. So that was a good dump..lol
  5. RUMOR that SFGAm is going to close their V2, which will be relocated to a smaller SF. I'm taking bets that IF It's true, it'll come to SFA, as SFA is the dumping ground of SFGAm. Though, that wouldn't be a bad dump.
  6. This is excellent news. If I keep hearing my buddy talk about sfmm chop six, I'm going to strangle him. Free or not. No way chop six is as good as panda express. Yeah, but I'll take the 'free' food. I don't have a problem with Chop Six.
  7. I fully agree with the person in that FB post about the Santa experience. I wonder if they are going to paint all of those buildings back? They need to if they want the theme of certain sections to fit.
  8. Don't know where Ilyana is going; heard it was something good though. Ronald Buchanon left in 15. He was the head performer for a few years before he left. Heading up something (head entertainer) overseas, maybe Korea or China. I can't remember. The director I'm talking about was the one from 15.
  9. One thing I'm worried about for next year. The head entertainment director went to SFGAm last year to square away their entertainment. Over the last two years the two top performers, with one leaving (Ilyana) after HITP, have gone to bigger things. The dance coordinator left for CA last year too. I hope the program doesn't suffer next year.
  10. As always, I loved the entertainment. The dance show was excellent in the theater. I was weary when they decided to replace EFX 3.0, but was not disappointed.
  11. Glad that they have started construction on WW. Wonder when it'll open up. Memorial Day of course. https://www.facebook.com/SixFlagsAmerica/?ref=ts&fref=ts
  12. Yesterday was a great weather day. Got in my rides on Wild One and Roar. Saw a little of the construction on the Wonder Woman site from atop the lift hill on W1. Park will be open again in 3 short months!
  13. Happy New Year folks. Will be getting a ride on the 100 year old coaster today.
  14. Lol,..yeah, Roar has been a different ride this year, especially good in the cooler weather.
  15. I'm sure the nice weather has a lot to do with it, but I've seen the most people in the park over the last 2 days.
  16. You know, they really put some work into that Home for the Holidays show. Actually had some people in the crowd belly aching (crying). Pretty good acting and singing.
  17. Yeah, I'm going to throw my support in. If anything, use my dining pass.
  18. More power to ya. I'm gonna sit in my warm apartment and recover from the URI I'm currently suffering from. Hmm, thanks for the info...
  19. Maybe not, because it's a special type of cold today
  20. It's going to be super cold this weekend. Let's see what happens.
  21. Thought Id post a pic of how packed one of the shows were. This is like all shows too. Standing room only..lol I've never seen this show arena like this....ever
