They should use the extra money to repaint joker's jinx (maybe not the supports, just the green track) and wild one (or add chaser lights). Mind eraser could definitely use new trains.

im canceling mine too. This would be a fine addition if it included something else with it, like a Gotham city retheme. But I'll buy a season pass once a new coaster gets added. You eventually get tired of riding the same rides for 2 hours and then nothing else to do, very tedious.

Idk what's more annoying, the "world-record breaking" rides or Harley Quinn being used 300 times like joker last year. I know this is six flags but cmon this is getting ridiculous

I think if they did no teasing I wouldn't be disappointed. This is probably the worst addition since 2011 lol. They could've at least included a slide or flat ride with it. Looks like I'll be spending most of my time at KD next season.

Final prediction: Gotham city retheme to DC universe and whistlestop park rethemed to DC super friends AND a water coaster or slide complex to replace zoomazon falls. I don't think anything will be removed from the dry park, the reaper was a troll.

They are now teasing that zoomazon falls is leaving. I'm starting to think they're just teasing based off what people are saying and speculating. Maybe PBR and ZF are actually getting removed. Next years addition better be good lol

I was really hoping for a new coaster or flat ride, but this seems like a water park addition with a water park slide being removed (maybe zoomazon falls) OR a water park addition with the removal of penguin and the addition of a flat ride

I think the benches in front of roar is to stop people from ignoring the sign and continuing to walk to the station (I've seen people do it before). Also, I agree that it's a staffing issue, usually SFA is closed around this time of year during the week due to school, however, since pg county schools do not go back until after Labor Day now, they changed the park hours and operating days.

It says "new for 2017" but they didn't add anything new. They should at least change the layout for some of the mazes and add something new because it's the same scares every year. I see the park stays open until 12am late October so that should be fun.

I have faith that shipwreck or penguin will get removed for a 4d free fly.

My 3 predictions: 1. Although it has pretty good ridership, PBR removed for 4d free fly or water coaster 2. A flat ride replaced for another 3. New water park addition/slide

So I decided to ride alpengeist to find out if it is as bad as people say, and I'm usually a back row person, worst. decision. ever. That cobra roll was deadly. I didn't get a chance to ride front row, but I assume it's smoother with less rattle.

I believe they are constructing a new game. I saw it today but sadly I didn't take pics. I saw the same thing . . . . it's another one of those rope ladder games (I even saw the park president Rick there looking at it) and they moved the basketball game to in front of Gotham Arena. Why they did this . . . . I don't know They have a rope ladder game right before you walk into Gotham city, so I think they should've used that space for something else. But maybe this one may be different idk.

You really talked to those guys? I'm still hung up on the arena for many reasons. Riddle me this is not leaving (too many people ride it, and the ride itself is reliable), and probably not Rodeo. Blizzard River I can see. RMC, mmm, wouldn't be surprised, but doubt it. So, I'm still 'guessing' that the arena is going for Justice dark ride; I take what Sally said with a grain of salt. They remove the zooamazon falls slides, and put a water coaster there. They'll mess up, and put in a Spinsanity. Yeah I talked to them, they told me something is getting replaced and we'll find out in about 6 weeks. I know many people won't believe me, which is perfectly fine lol.

So when I went to the park, I over heard maintenance talk about what the park needs. So i chimed in the conversation, they said they would get rid of some of the older flat rides and that next years addition won't be a coaster, but it could be false. They did say something is getting replaced. Here are my predictions: -riddle me this, rodeo, or penguins blizzard river gets replaced -rmc roar -Gotham stunt arena gets replaced However, I wish the v2 rumor was true, but I don't think the park feels the need to add another coaster.

Back in 2009 and 2010, they used the capital railways train as a haunted attraction that dropped you off at the picnic pavilion and you would enter the woods through there. Maybe because I was younger at the time, but when they used the woods/train for "circus of lost souls", it was much scarier. In 2011, they used the Gotham arena as the entrance and rethemed the maze to "backwoods bloodshed" and got rid of the train. Backwoods bloodshed started from Gotham arena and would let out at penguins blizzard river and they marketed it as "the longest maze in Maryland". Ever since they rethemed it to the haunting of hall manor, the maze kinda went downhill. The idea is great but the execution is bad. They send out almost 15 people per group and there are so many dead spots that you forget that you're even in a haunted attraction.
