  1. What shall we name the deformed corkscrew? http://themeparkreview.com/forum/images/smilies/headbash_119.gif
  2. Yeah,maybe just a little bit more...
  3. It's called Planned Economy. This is due to the country's communist government. This regime requires the companies to stay in business no matter what.
  4. Not very sure, the support and the last Corkscrew does look different. But the prototype was said to have a lot of modifications so this might be one of the results. The first drop's shape also looks different. Triple Corkscrews are not a bad idea. Arrow installed Triple Corkscrews on a coaster that is still operating quite well. It BECOMES a bad idea when you have to flatten the last corkscrew to prevent the too-short train from stalling.
  5. I'm guessing they will simply hang the riders by their ankles?
  6. If that's what it takes to prevent the train from stalling, so be it.
  7. I found the RCDB entry for the triple corkscrew coaster: http://rcdb.com/12207.htm This was not the first ride to have three corkscrews in a row. Arrow actually made a ride with a triple corkscrew a while back. Obviously it was much better and more innovative than anything the China Workers could build...
  8. I really do not think that is a corkscrew...
  9. That last roll...what a horrid transition! It makes Ron Toomer's coasters look sleek, and modern!
  10. The one I went on wasn't brutal....It was just absolutely nothing to write home about. The Volare's cars and restraints look like something used to torture prisoners at Alcatraz.
  11. I know exactly where they're headed!
  12. Gee, a volare copy actually sounds worse than the Wonderwinder a few pages back...
  13. Honestly looks kinda cool.
  14. Hydra's not that bad but it's not that good either. It's just there. I love the jojo roll though. I think it's a rather rattly "head banger"--like Scream at SFMM. What exactly is the Jojo roll? Isn't it that heartline roll placed before the lift hill or something?
  15. Was Hydra really that bad? It looks like a fun ride!
  16. Yeah, but not good air like a Gerstlauer Bobsled counter-part... Seems more like jerky painful air like on Magnum or any other Arrow Hyper Is that even a question? Half question, half exclamation. With the exceptions of Mega Coaster at Hamanako Pal Pal, and Ultra Twister at Rusutsu Resort, it seems that Togo rides have at least one thing wrong with them. Isn't there a Togo in China somewhere? Didn't TPR film a POV on it? If someone could find it, that would be great.

  18. Politics.
  19. Lemme guess, TOGO?!
  20. Any Inversion that you don't normally see Is a favourite of mine, even if it is somewhat painful. Among them include: Scorpion Tail: http://rcdb.com/12192.htm Pretzel Knot: http://rcdb.com/8897.htm Roll Out: http://rcdb.com/8896.htm Demonic Knot: http://rcdb.com/12033.htm Saxophone: http://rcdb.com/8915.htm Flying Snake Dive: http://rcdb.com/8912.htm Diving Turn: http://rcdb.com/8903.htm We need coasters with inversions that look like this: http://cache.rcdb.com/fs72ie323lo00d31hfstf4.jpg Or this: http://cache.rcdb.com/56l018qcbv7bp4m878da00.jpg And lest we forget this: http://cache.rcdb.com/3tn38mcbv7bp48ik068m00.jpg
  21. TWISTED. COLOSSUS. oh, and having a disneyworld in shanghai sounds like fun.
  22. http://rcdb.com/12188.htm# It is not in China, but it still creeps me out...
