RMCs can be temperamental from what I've experienced. Sometimes they're butter smooth, and other times they vibrate and make loud grinding/squeaking noises. At least the iron-horse ones do, haven't ridden an all woodie one yet.

I'm blown away!! How does RMC keep topping themselves time after time?

It opened a couple times and closed again. Problems with the restraints getting stuck closed/opened. I was lucky to ride it once today. Anyone planning to go this weekend should reconsider if at all possible.

Closed again, I wouldn't recommend coming today. It seems like the problem is the sensors on the air gates. They kept telling us not to touch them or the ride would shut down because they're sensitive.

Joker's open, though only the purple is cycling with people. The green is cycling empty at the moment. Thoughts on the ride: Definitely more pace than both Twisted Colossus and Wicked Cyclone. Though I think I prefer the layouts of the other two. Joker also vibrated like crazy, more so than WC from what I remember. We rode the front the first time, going to try for the back this time.

They're now testing both trains on Joker, looks promising. There are about 10 maintenence people in the station on walkie talkies lol.

Please let us know if they manage to get it operating today. Any idea what the problem might be? They sent a test train about 30 mins ago, been crickets since. Boomerang has also been stuck on the lift for quite a while

At the park now, Joker still closed! The attendant at the entrance says it "might open later today". Not holding my breath though. 6 hour drive from L.A. though grrrr. These things happen though

I've had some really intense rides on GL!! Most of them result in pain, but I don't mind too much because the experience is so different than any other ride. I can't imagine MM will keep the ride forever, it rarely has a line and guests constantly complain about it. I wonder if MM would ever replace it with an S&S model, I dont see how they'd get a ROI though. I feel like guests would just view it as a slightly bigger GL.

I don't think Viper is going anywhere, if anything maybe they'll give it the Ninja treatment and retheme.

I'm praying for an RMC giga too, but I have that sinking feeling we're going to end up with a JL clone. Which isnt a bad thing, but the maintenence will become a problem in a few years I believe. I can already see MM giving up on the fog, smoke, and fire effects. Only having like 3 of the ride vehicle operable. Only half of the lights working, etc;

I think the purple side was tuned down prior to the season pass preview, this vid was taken a few days before. The purple side is mostly just rocking while the green is spinning aggressively [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Ummmm, no they are not. Six Flags was adding multiple $20 million attractions in the same season, while Cedar Fair adds one.
