  1. Disney: Expedition Everest Universal: Incredible Hulk Seaworld: Montu Cedar Fair: Maverick Six Flags: El Toro
  2. Pretty dang packed, I'd say. My family used to go to KI around my birthday on weekends (4/23) and it was always packed. I wouldn't hope for a lot of short lines, especially on coasters like FireHawk. I also recall waiting a fairly long time for Flight of Fear as well. Diamondback, too, but I rode that within its first year, so I should have expected long lines.
  3. I'm a Rider and a Designer. I'd hate to ride a coaster that looks ugly; I'd die to ride a beautiful looking coaster. A huge part of it is also how the plot setup for the ride is. I love reading about the plots behind each coaster.
  4. Basically just playing my copy of Pokémon White 2, trying to complete the Pokédex.
  5. My three closest amusement parks are: Kings Island Cedar Point Kennywood
  6. I love the Animal Kingdom. Honestly, as long as Avatarland has a good ride or three, I could care less about its' source material!
  7. I wasn't implying that Knott's guests are somehow more sophisticated. There are just a greater number of a certain type of guest here that really doesn't care about rides in general; the type of people that have annual passes to Disneyland and pretty much just go to ride the train and swing dance. Knott's has been doing a good job of attracting them with a combination of cheap passes, vasy improved food, and improvements to some classic Knott's offerings (log ride, mine train, atmosphere entertainment, return/refurbishment of scenery items). Knott's has also been the new home to at least 2 musical acts that Disney let go. This along with the general improvements being seen at CFP properties is broadening their appeal. Compare this with previous management decisions that closed their only dark ride, closed the Haunted Shack, stuck Silver Bullet in the center of the park, etc. What musical acts have they hired that Disney let go? I would love to know; it sounds interesting. I personally haven't been to Knotts'... But, my lord, their Scary Farm attractions during October are wicked.
  8. Has anyone discussed the rumor that Disney's Animal Kingdom will soon have a night show? Has this been confirmed yet? I'm personally wary about a night show, since there's a possibility it could spook the animals. On the other hand, there could be some sort of change to some DAK attractions that has them incorporate primarily nocturnal animals, so that you can experience something at DAK past 5 P.M.
