  1. My worst coaster experience was at Thorpe Park fright nights last year on the front row of Colossus. As soon as we got on the train the heavens opened and the rain was the hardest possible... And in England thats alot... With the roughness of Colossus anyway the rain made it twice as painful...
  2. Went to Thorpe Park on the 7th June 2014 on one of my many visits due to having a Merlin Pass. It was a extreamly hot day and was expecting it to be uber busy and not get much done! Slammer has just reopened and was sooooo exited to get back on it. Got on every major attraction twice and all the flats and water rides. Going back there Thursday 19th to have so more fun on Slammer! Hope you like my photo report! Arrived in the morning to see the all new LED screen at the front of the park! Nice hot day! Over to the first ride of the day, Eurofighter! Saw:The Ride! Hate the first lift though, hate it! Really really good first drop! Bloody hurts your nuts though... Little trip down past Samurai to Colossus! Worlds first 10 looper rollercoaster. Im 6'6' and lets say i come of slightly more bent over... The loops is really good! Car infort of you always seems like its going to hit you in the face though... Time to go and check out the new Angry Birds Land! (well its more like area...) The themed work around the 'land' honestly looks pretty decent! Good design on the old Amity Cove buildings! Nice and bright colours to lighten up the area. Perfect for the kiddies! The 4D show in the land is actually one of the best I have ever done! If you have been to Thorpe during the Pirate show I believe this is much better! (You get bad piggies lick you!) It was a hot day, so time to get soaked on Tidal wave! Not even ponchos today For the geeks! Tidals chain lift from the queue line Time to go over to my favorite B&M; Nemesis Inferno! (Detonator looking no different after 're theme' in background) Only went to Swarm once on the day but didnt get any pictures! Loved this one though from through Tidal Time for the last major ride Stealth! Even though it was a hot Saturday the park was empty and got 2 goes front row in 10 mins! Time for my second favorite flat on the park! S&S Sky Swing Rush! Love the air on this ride Got on all the flat rides on the park on the day but didnt get any pictures. Last ride of the day was Storm Surge (Just has big dinner) Got some nice scenic pictures on the neverending lift hill. Amazing views of the park. Best part of Swarm going on. This was hard to take! Just about to go down the slide and snapped it quick! Found this one of Samurai on my phone last minute! Love the ride to pieces... But my balls dont.
  3. As the park is a small run part their only major attraction that has been built in the past was Rage (This only costing £3 million) Recent additions at the park such as the Time Machine are built in the actual park itself and they can build these when they please. The park doesnt make massive profits and most likely has to save up a decent amount before investing again in a new custom ride or even a purchase like Rage. I believe though that the park would like more thrill rides as this started with this addition of Rage in 2007. Next was the addition of The Time Machine a pretty thrilling ride. In a year or two I would expect another thrilling flat ride at the park maybe replacing the golf or the Sk8Board. But I doubt another big investment for a while. The park has added events such as Halloween night what attracts alot of people as its a more friendly atmosphere to such things as Fright Nights at Thorpe. There event still has additions for Teens and Adults with scare actors. Hopefully we see alot more exiting things at the park in the future.
  4. One simple thread to talk about all the new and improved things going on down at Southend on Sea, Adventure Island. The UK's best free admission theme park! The Park includes such rides as: Rage (a Eurofighter) Time Machine ( a custom built first kind ride) Green Scream Sky Drop Mini Mighty Mega Also loads of family rides, coasters and water rides for the whole family to enjoy on a wristband! Always open late.
  5. Thorpe Park's The Swarm is favorite B&M coaster. Been on it many many times and have never seen it been broken down for much longer than like 10 minutes. The chain lift broke down on it once and it was down for a maximum of 10 minutes. Really like the B&M's at Thorpe. Nemesis at Thorpe is also a really really reliable coaster. Love B&M. Simple, Stylish and Sexy.
  6. Thorpe Park on Thursday! And then again on Saturday! 9th and 10th time of the year. Making the most of the Merlin Annual Pass
  7. Love Saw: The Ride.. Best ride at Thorpe.. Also love Grand National at Blackpool! Saw The Ride!

  9. Defiantly the Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This thing is painful.
  10. The opening day of Saw The Ride at Thorpe Park i waited around 2 and a 30 hours with that being a hour inside. And with Saw the air pressure shot goes off every ten minutes what always made us jump.. At least it kept us awake.
  11. Saw The Ride at Thorpe Park during the summer; cant wait to visit again during Fright Nights!
