  1. It should have been a link to Rick Astley.
  2. While I am a fan of the idea to replace riptide with a frisbee, I wonder if there's enough room for one. Also, does anyone else think that Planet Snoopy could use another kiddie/family coaster? I was thinking a custom Vekoma roller skater-type that replaces Snoopy's Junction (kiddie railroad). I also think it's weird that there is no dedicated restroom in PS. Cause you got the one on the other side of Monster or Red Baron. While there is a family restroom in the family care center area, I think that area could use a restroom.
  3. A recent one of Valleyfair's Corkscrew. With thunderstorm looming.
  4. Serves as protection in more than one way The
  5. Another bit of information I've recently picked up: Mangler Asylum will be outdoors this year for haunt. That tidbit has caused me to speculate further that the bumper cars building will become our dark ride. While it would be sad for it to go, it makes sense. -People hate working and cleaning it at night. -It's a good location in the park. -That whole midway from Planet Snoopy to Fryer Tuck's needs to be repaved and this would be a good excuse to do so. -Mr. Ouimet's comments about empty boxes perfect for such rides.
  6. Couple bits of information for you: -I've heard from a few that this is Looping Starship's last year (at least in current location) to be replaced by Soak City expansion -There's some dirt-moving going on behind Chickie's and Pete's. Make of that what you will. -The Northwest part of the parking lot has been (partially and crappily) repaved with markings for more later on. -I found the below markings just outside the Wild Thing photo booth. Wild Thing Photo markings
  7. ^^^^Six Flags and Larson Loopers say "Hi"
  8. PhantomPoster, if that staging area/parking lot is not for the coaster, and instead for another ride(s), are you able to tell us which ones?
  9. But the real question is why is that page still active?
  10. I'm considering getting the all day dining plan when I visit in August. Is it worth it, or should I just go for the Bacon Pretzel Fury? I'm getting the BPF either way.
  11. I never really got around to posting my pictures from last season on here for whatever reason, and with today's passholder preview day, it feels like a good time to do so in anticipation of the new season and my second working Power Tower. Corkscrew's Corkscrew Looping around Power Tower Loop-de-loop! My computer's background Whosoever pulls the sword from the stone, if he be worthy, shall not get a headache on the ride. Extreme Swing blotting out the sun She'll be commin' o'er the hill when she comes! Heading into the final stretch For those that like this sort of shot...you know who you are. Sun shining over Renegade That dog should be on a leash Ferris Wheel Fountain Fountain doggy-style Vroom, vroom POWER TOWER GERONIMO! Hold the wife and hide the yunguns, the Renegade's a-runnin'! Snake comin' at ya! Slithering closer Rearing up to strike! And here's why every guy who rides sings soprano after getting off. Ska-ploosh! Looks like Wild Thing has a bit of an X Factor Rising into the sunset First we're gonna lift you up! Then we're gonna let you fall! Then you're gonna run around to the next ride! That's all for now! See you out there!
  12. What is the park's policy on filming/pictures on the train/sky ride?
  13. Nah, Wild Thing looks underwhelming in the shadow of Flying Eagles But you can't snap on these Eagles.
  14. And let's not forget about the Superman incident... Though I'm still looking forward to Falcon's Fury in August.
  15. I'm starting to think that that initial boat went on a three hour tour (a three hour tour)
  16. As tasty as I'm sure that Troikas are, I doubt maintenance would enjoy anyone going omnomnom on it.
  17. Wild Thing being the most popular ride doesn't surprise me all that much. Popularity is most likely judged by ridership numbers. And it's the biggest people-eater in the park. As for that museum exhibit having Colonel Ohoom Pa Pa's (probably taxidermied) carcass is a little creepy. Doing commissioning on Power Tower was tiring today, but it was great to be home. The flyers are mostly set up. They just need a lot of fencing put in place. And then it'll need commissioning. Excited for this season.
  18. With the coaster out for 2017 I could see a Frisbee and maybe another European Troika. This also makes me question: why did WoF get the Troika/Condor? Both VF and CGA were on that famous expansion park list with Carowinds, and look what they're getting.
  19. Anyone else think that they'll name the Top Scan Delirium? What about the others?
  20. Is there any land-clearing space for the two european flat rides? Is there anything in the park that suggests that they'll be added this year? I'd assume the park'd want them up for the heart of summer if they did open. Opening them around haunt would be homicide on the ride attendants. So until the park says otherwise, I'm thinking that they'll both be added next year along with whatever that banner is hinting at.
  21. I'm looking at taking a trip to SDC next year and either WoF or SFStL. Rumors suggest that all three are getting something big. What they get will be a big factor in that decision. The trip also depends on baseball schedules and the St. Louis City Museum.
