^I remember there was a time last year, Power Tower shut down due to how much fog there was. The night I got to work in Abnormal Alley, I got so many scares from just hiding in the fog and staring at people/letting them run into me. -

I dont think enough people have experienced skeleton key to know what goes on over there. So I better buy my passes before its gone From the story I heard, the group that shut down Fear VR had not personally experienced the attraction, but relied on word of mouth for putting their tails between their legs and hiding behind Mommy. On another hand, I remember when Universal Hollywood cancelled Bill & Ted due to "Homophobic content," Knotts responded by mocking it in the Hanging. The Hanging and Knotts in General are known for being very unapologetic when it comes to insensitive content. Knotts invented the scare zone! And now, they're the first one rolling over. I wonder how far this contagion will spread. Will this stick to Cedar Fair? Will it spread to independent haunts? Will Asylum haunts return in the future? -

Wildfire's construction delays also had to deal with permit issues and other paperwork. Otherwise it would have opened earlier. -

KI wants to preserve awesome night rides on wooden coasters. The battle of Mystic Timbers vs Beast is about to begin. -

The wording says after the ride has closed. When did it say immediately afterward? Next summer would be after the ride has closed. I'll keep an eye open tonight, but it might not happen tonight, or even this year. -
Just moved down to the area for college and have a few questions about HHN. -What are the ride lines usually like during HHN Friday nights? (October 21 is when I plan to go) -How much of Diagon Alley will be open? -How early should I plan to arrive before a Bill & Ted show? What are the odds of getting a selfie with them after the show? -How willing are the scare zone characters to take selfies? -I've heard about the conga line nature of the mazes, but how are the scare zone guest crowds? -Cheap food/booze recommendations? -How are the IOA crowds at this time? -I plan to do few mazes (Chance), mainly sticking to the scare zones, Bill & Ted, and rides

I retain my belief that the bumper cars building will become Valleyfair's Triotech dark ride. Galaxy Theater is currently the park's only indoor theater, and while it wasn't used all that often during the summer (most likely due to entertainment budget being used to rebuild ampitheatre/bring in All Wheels Extreme), it was used, and will be used for Haunt. It also appears to share a backstage area with Gazebo stage--which has extremely little. Asylum, the Maze that takes over bumper cars for haunt, will be a scare zone this year with the ride remaining open. The corkscrew crossover could use a good repaving and a new ride would be the perfect catalyst for such a thing. The main reason that bumper cars has been dismissed is due to the attraction's size. There is ample room surrounding the attraction to expand the building. See picture below Black: current building Red: space available behind the ride Blue: space available in front of the ride -

What was wrong with Enterprise's exit? It was 2 exit gates, on either side of the control panel/booth. The paths merged behind the control booth and to a single exit gate. I don't understand what's wrong with that setup. It gets people out of the ride area quickly. I would guess he means how it exited back into the main park and nowhere near the entrance to the ride What PhantomPoster32 said. It was very inconvenient. Especially for re-rides or for those that wanted to go into Route 76 afterwards. Because why hit it on the way back when it's right there? -

My biggest hope with Northstar is that they don't have a completely F'd up exit like Enterprise did. -

It'll be interesting to see if the webcam moves at all when the ride goes vertical. Does the construction affect the operation of the train at all? -

It is included. If you haven't before, shell out the extra money for Fright Lane, the skeleton key is a lot of fun. I didn't know there was any other way. But then you don't have enough money to drink or tip strippers. But with fright lane, you have more time to do those things. -

I still think that Hurler will eventually be given the RMC Iron Horse treatment while Grizzly gets the GCI Ghostrider treatment. As for the grain of salt B&M Launched flyer rumor, I'd be interested in seeing how they do that. The forces are definitely quite unique on a flying coaster and I wonder how fast it could be launched given the riding position and forces. Then there's the question of where to put it? There was a rumor a few years ago that they were looking into a Deckerized B&M wing coaster. Personally, I'd love to see a pretzel loop that goes around the main entrance to any park. Frame the entrance inside the loop. Tell me that wouldn't look completely awesome with the Eiffel Tower in the background. -

From what I've heard, Bumper Cars will be open during haunt with a specialized "zombie car." A scareactor from Zombie High will be driving around during Haunt all night. I have no idea if this is true or not as it was not listed on the haunt site last I checked. I hope not with how long it takes to load a cycle on that ride. With how long the line can get on a slow day, and how loud/annoying it can get in there for the operator, adding in a haunt element to the attraction -
Visited the park today. (No camera due to forecast, so no pictures ) Ride Count: Falcon's Fury: 2x Scorpion: 1x third row Kumba: 1x back row, exit side. Rain delay: about 45 min. Sheikra: 1x front row, far entrance Cheetah Hunt: 1x back row Montu: 2x back entrance, Sheikra again: 1x Cobra's Curse: Down all day. Very few queues except for Scorpion (10 min), Kumba (10 min), and Cheetah (17 min). The park could really use more thrill flat rides. Or just more flat rides in general. And attraction-specific merch. Had the all-day dining deal today against my better judgment, but it came with the good deal my resort offered. That Bacon Pretzel Fury though... Could the Icepoloration storyline get any cheesier? The acrobatics/puppetry/other athletes were great.

I don't really see what the problem is with Mystic Timbers being like either Prowler or White Lightning. The former was a Golden Ticket winner. Though I do think that the park will eventually get an RMC wooden coaster. My guess is replacing Dinos eventually. -

I'm thinking that whenever the Dinos contracts are up, the next year, something big will go in their place. Maybe that's a reason for the small 2017 expansions announced so far. They're saving the money. Maybe CF is Rick-Rolling KD fans into starting petitions and RMC Hurler will yet be announced, but at this point, who knows? After SOB closed down after that last incident, what kind of promises did Kings Island make about the future before the Banshee started screaming? I heard a small rumor a while ago (undocumented sorry) that the park was shopping for a B&M invert. Could history be repeating itself here? -

SHHH! Don't let Phantom Poster know! It looks like Vekoma SLC track. It's a vertical loop with track on the outside. Non-B&M track. -

The announcement is really making me wonder what, when, and how the elephant in the room will be dealt with. Oh, and by the way, I believe I'm the first one to speculate that it might have something to do with Planet Snoopy. So there's an "I told you so" moment. -

While I could easily see a slide structure moved, the water fortress not so much. What would be the logistics behind moving something like that? If we do get some stuff from GLWWK, when would we get it? Would it be for 2017 or beyond? I'm guessing the closure was planned before North Star was announced. So just call me a little skeptical. CW and MIA haven't announced yet. I heard that CW is looking to expand their waterpark and MIA is in desperate need of a new thrilling attraction and they have a good waterpark.
