I'm almost positive Cedar Fair had the name way before they even bought ValleyFair. (if it was part of the Paramount Purchase) Correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure that's not where they got the name. And just because of that, it doesn't make the park higher in rank. I mean it does deserve more attractions, but it doesn't make near as much money as the other parks.

ValleyFair won't get any record breaking things most likely. Maybe "Tallest coaster in the area!" "Fastest Coaster to ever hit VF!"

There are different mini golf places in Sandusky, including go karts. I forgot what the place was called. But, I certainly wouldn't play putt putt at an amusement park I would recommend skipping Mantis if you don't want your lucky charms smashed to a thousand pieces. Gatekeeper isn't really all that fun. It's slow and rather boring. But, if you do ride, I recommend front row.

So this park is in fact a go?

I'm referring to the helix type drop.

90 mph is a huge stretch. Maybe 70 something close to 80. But 90? No. It might be awesome, but that would ruin the track. Badly.

I just realized how weird Great Bear's drop looks to me. Are there any other Inverts with the same kind of drop?

I doubt it, not even all of the track work is complete, and several sections of track need to go in, chain needs to be installed, electrical work has to be completed, state has to inspect the ride, about 3 weeks of testing has to go in, and once then it will be ready for opening. I see this coaster opening in early June. Have trains even arrived on site?

Being back in the woods, has nothing ever been hit on the tracks? Wildlife and such?

I wonder if who ever designed it had a good stock of sharpies.

On the topic of restraints and coaster seats, don't touch your restraint after you leave the station on Millie at CP. Please. It might go this way for other coasters to. Idk. I made that mistake once, I kept tightening the restraint on the way up the lift, and it was the most painful ride of my life. I pulled like every muscle in my legs and thighs. Literally it hurt SO bad. Back on topic now.

I mean this with all the respect, but can you explain why you love it so much? I love plenty of rides that most find terrible so I am not trying to say I am right/wrong in any regard, but the Beast really is one ride that baffles me with its popularity... It is practically long straight away after straightaway with slight turns inbetween and trim brakes. So what do people find interesting about the ride (aside from the only decent part of the ride, the helix)? To consider that ride one of the best in the US just blows my mind Everyone has their own opinions. I find the ride okay. But I ride it just for the second lift, and tunnels, that's what makes the ride exciting for me. I love the speed it gains down the second lift.
