I agree, CP fanboys will get mad we don't rank the park extremely high. But, it is a great park. I just like Kings Island, and Holiday World better. I don't agree with the layout thing you mentioned though. I think the park has a great layout for what it is.

Now that I think about it, Cedar Point really needs a good GCI coaster.

My KK wish list- RMC- With a height of at least 100' , two or more inversions. And a whole bunch of Airtime. B&M- Maybe a floorless, flyer, or launched. Intamin- One good Intamin coaster would fit in Kentucky Kingdom perfectly. A coaster similar to Maverick would be amazing. Landscaping- A whole bunch of plant life does a park good. Get a huge variety and bushel them up in certain areas of the part. Drop Tower- Yes, the park has a Larson tower. But, I would love to see something like the old Superman or an S&S launch tower come in. Free pop- KK needs free pop, IMO. It's what gets a lot of people to Holiday World. Expansion- I know the land is owned by the fair board. But KK could really use a little expansion space.

Oh wow that would be amazing. Thunderbird looks alright. I was a little disappointed in it, it's just a little underwhelming to me. I'm looking forward to seeing more B&M launches in the future now! Also looking at what RMC is doing with twisted colossus, I'm HYPED about what could be coming to the twins! They already have a more interesting footprint, so if the rumors for it are true, it will be a huge win for KK. I don't expect to see a RMC at holiday world or kings island in foreseeable future. i hope the name doesnt start with IRON I wouldn't care if it did, I'm getting a wing rider so close to me. Now it would be a dream come true if KK got an RMC. "Iron Twins, coming in 2016!"

I would recommend going early in the day and staying until night. We did that for Kings Island's haunt and the park wasn't really busy, but at about 6 people start piling in. And I would think that 40 degrees is everywhere but I'm not an expert.

Considering that the winter is supposed to be worse than the last. (According to the news) I doubt it. Banshee had the brake run, first drop, lift hill, dive loop and part of the loop that circles the hill completed when the season ended. I know that this is a much shorter coaster, so who knows. It might be January, and it might be March Now, if HW was a Six Flags I would expect track to be completed around December next year.

I think your confusing Cedar Fair with Six Flags.

That was extremely rude... You don't know what they are getting so it is fixed, but you don't care because it's not your home park and that is very ignorant. Just because you don't go to the park doesn't mean no one does and that is why Cedar Fair is investing in this place. Woah. I never said I didn't visit the park. Don't read things into other people's posts, that is just as rude. Next, you would have to be pulling an ostrich if you think that up until the announcement that the chain was going to finally invest major money in the park that it (VF) was being treated like anything other than the red-headed stepchild of the park. I'm sorry, but MSP didn't start being a larger metro area all of a sudden. It has always been good sized, I just don't see why all of a sudden they think that they will be able to milk it for more patrons and money when the metro area doesn't really support the park like it should already. Next I almost guarantee that if they (Cedar Point) had had the choice to get Kings Island instead of Valleyfair when they wanted to start expanding it wouldn't have been a competition. Yes, Valleyfair is the original of the Legacy Parks, but as I mentioned above it has been the red-headed step child of the chain with regards to expansions. Also market size doesn't seem to matter up there as they have not supported VF very well. Adding a coaster might give a little boost, but it is just not hardwired into the northerners to go to VF and that's a cultural problem NOT a "the park isn't big enough" problem. ===== Finally before calling out someone as being "rude" - make sure you don't respond with a post that is as equally "rude". Just because someone has a different opinion as yours doesn't constitute it as being "rude". There post wasn't really rude, yours was IMO. You said "It's not my home park so I don't care what they get fixed." Just because it's not your home park, doesn't mean it's not others. I'm sure they would like a park like Kings Island, Cedar Point, or Canada's Wonderland.

Everyone is sharing the animation of Batman on my Facebook. And they aren't people I met on coaster websites, just family, friends, and such. I saw one this morning saying "I would drive to Texas just for that!" I'm glad this ride is causing a lot of hype. It's even got more attention then the announcement of Banshee, and that is like an hour away from me. And a little more than the Thunderbird announcement.

Nah, I like that they are different colors. It has more of a racing aspect in the way, IMO. But, the colors remind of a Mardi Gras sort of theme.

How would it be ironic since CP isn't a SF park? Aside from the "refurb" of t2, I'm pretty sure that's all the have planned for next summer. I don't know if they even have room for Mantis Because Kentucky Kingdom used to have a mirror version of Mantis with Chang...which is now Green Lantern at SFGAdv I guess so.. In any case, I don't want mantis at one of my closest parks I do! It's better than nothing.

Hey man, just some constructive criticism. I know you said the photos were from your phone, but the iPhone 5 has a way better camera than you're allowing it to be. It looks like you might need to wipe the lens off to reduce all of that excess glare. Also make sure you don't have the sun eating half of your photo like those Yolo and X2 photos. For comparison take a look at some of my TRs from the past year or two. All of those photos were taken from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, a phone that's a year older than yours. I appreciate the update and I'm not trying to bring you down, I'm just saying you can do much better with that camera if you practice some better framing and keep the lens clean. My IPhone 5 takes amazing pictures.

Darkness falls on #12. Does this mean the 2015 addition will be announced on Oct. 12th? Or do you think it will be the 19th along with Mantis's squishing?
