Was talking with a suit while waiting for the Gold Striker event to start Saturday. He said they were waiting all week for the letter from city officials saying they are able to open the ride. It came down to the wire, and they ended up getting the letter around 2:30 Friday afternoon, which as you all know is when the ride "officially" opened.

Happy Feet sucks. It's like what am I..? Am I a camera? Am I a penguin? Too many changes in POV, pick a side Great America we're at war.

Surprised no one's mentioned the slight double-down in the station fly-by speed hill. Aside from the air going into the first turnaround, that's what surprised me the most.
