  1. Could be, but they didn't build anything else besides this, that's it as far as I know. Maybe it's for some sort of cable so they could easily pull the car if it gets stuck again, but this seems rather strange. Mirabilandia said on facebook that they are going to open it some time in June so I guess there won't be any more additions. Does anyone know (or assume) why the brakes (wheels) are actually slowing down the train there? I think that the coaster was faster in the first season after mid-course brakes section, now (last season) it seemed that the train was slown down in the brake section. It wasn't fast even in the first year, there weren't any airtime on the last hill.
  2. Hey guys, As we discussed before, Divertical has a lot od technical issues, but it still is a good coaster, just not worth the money I think. Last year people got stuck on the last helix just after the mid-course break run and the coaster was closed for the year. This year they installed some additions to the support structure beside the track (those blue things that are attached to orange supports): Anyone know what this is and what is supposed to do/why they installed it there? Coaster is not yet opened in this season but it is expected to open in June according to Mirabilandia fan page.
  3. Ok, I'm wondering for a few years now what does "ALT" stand for on the screen that shows how many people can go on a ride (in the first picture of Supersplash)? They use same thing in Gardaland. Its probably something so simple I'll feel stupid, but I can't figure it out.
  4. Is it just me, or does anyone else have a feeling that Europe coaster riders rank their rides lower than Americans rank theirs? I find that Europe rides (I'm sure about Katun and iSpeed in previous season, since they are much better coasters than the ones that had similar score) are underscored compared to the ones in USA, but maybe it's just me.
  5. As I understand, they wanted black for the track, but they were not allowed by the organisation that is responsible for natural environment of Garda (they are also responsible for height restriction of rides in Gardaland as I understand) because it would interfere with surroundings, so they had to go with white. I'm not sure if this information is true because I use google translate to read theparks.it, but it seems plausible.
  6. Never used it before, but I may use it for english forums. Until now I used computer for checking forums in english and italian (I use auto translate for italian -> english via google translate in chrome), but I do check forums in my language (slovenian) on phone very often - every few minutes when I have time. I heard about Tapatalk before but was too lazy to check it out. I think that I will check forums in english more often now with Tapatalk, problem is that I'll still check italian ones with computer with chrome for translating and slovenian forums via safari on mobile since most of them don't support or work with Tapatalk. Then again, it is still ok to read TPR forum on mobile, at least on iPhone with retina and other high resolution phones. And there is this "feel" if you are actualy on the page itself, you know that this is TPR forum and it is not the same as it is on Tapatalk. We'll see how it goes.
  7. You might be a coaster nerd if ... ... you go to a club and talk about slow lift speeds on coasters with a japanese girl. Oh, and if she also likes rollercoasters, you sir are on the right path! (happened this weekend)
