  1. I don't give a crap about the trains on an old ride. WILD THING IS BUMPY! B&M makeover FTW.
  2. What do you mean, "would even be happy" with a Maverickesque?!?! Even a cheaper knock-off would kill! Then again, there's the space issue... Blitzes are quite spread out.
  3. If so, VF gets dibs on the Tornado/kids area! I think Cedar Point needs them a little more Trade you for Raptor.... Or Mantis.... Or... well, any one of your coasters CP.. Where coasters are annual.. except when debt is 5 billion... WWK is not closing any time soon. It is doing really well, No you can't have any of Cedar Point's coasters I know, but VF's waterpark and coaster count is hideous.
  4. I can dream.... The more Intamin Blitzes in the world, the better.
  5. At VF there has been no coaster since Renegade (2007) so gimme any ideas for what would fit the park or rumored coasters, expansions, or rides. P.S. I am AWARE that Dinosaurs Alive is opening, so don't post it.
  6. Idea: Intamin Blitz themed after the yellow bird (ya know, the fast one)
  7. My other post was wrong. I already rode Spongebob. Can never get used to vertical.
  8. My last coaster was Spongebob Sqaurepants Rock Bottom Plunge at Nick Universe. Best coaster under 70 feet EVER MADE. You don't see 98 degree drops at the mall every day.....
  9. Curt & I were discussing this: We could get a Zamperla/Vekoma/(PROBABLY NOT) B&M Flyer over the DA area. Call it Pterodactyl. Or anything, as long as it's got inversions and is B&M or Intamin (really, no coasters from the two BIGGEST coaster manufacturers in the WORLD) Seems possible for 2015.
  10. Thank you! Very surprised you recognized it, must be a Minnesotan I am, have stood in that spot many a time looking up. You live in Minny as well? Yes in fact, I do

  12. So Far: Nuthin Planned: SFMM, VF ,Nick Universe Questionable: SF Great America
  13. Alas, no Six Flags anywhere near, no season pass, but I've heard varied reviews from "lines are short" to "barely had time" so I will make haste!
  14. this summer, forgot to mention that. Dang,as usual, I am over posting and should let the senior(er) members of TPR let me bask in their knowledge of thrill rides and theme parks.
  15. Not to get ahead of myself, but a trip to Great America is not out of the running as it's fairly close and I am overdue (read: WAITED A LONG, LONG, Time) to ride X-Flight.
  16. Though, there is too many Green Lantern coasters, well 2 is enough, but a more creative name or a name used by a defunct attraction (e.g. X-Flight) would be nice like Joker's Revenge. Now, if those Green Lantern coasters were any GOOD, people wouldn't be tired of them. Look how many Superman rides there are, everyone loves 'em. Green Lantern, everyone groans imagining their shoulders being mangled.
  17. Thank you! Very surprised you recognized it, must be a Minnesotan
  18. Yep, going smack dab in the middle of Spring Break. BTW, will try to get some Full Throttle construction pics.
  19. I heard VF was getting a B&M Invert called Falcon the same year CP got Raptor and Dorney got Talon. (Though the simple notion that VF will get an invert is complete myth)
  20. I believe Valleyfair's Wild Thing will win, and MH will announce it as meteors fall and dinosaurs roam.
  21. Is the Flash Pass worth it? Really want to get on the rides more then once (my top 5 probably) instead of the "never coming back get on everything you can" rush. Are Gold and Platinum worth it?
