These are a boatload of fun and would be a perfect addition to Silverwood! Great news!

I've always been more of a Nintendo guy, and am currently working my way through Super Mario Odyssey. It's a lot of fun, but I don't know if I'd put it on the same level as other 3D Marios like 64 or Galaxy. I'm also playing Overcooked 2 with the wife and am really digging it. It's cute, challenging in the right ways, and I really dig the multiplayer aspect. I'm trying to get my sister and brother hooked on it so we can all play together.

^If they do go that route, I doubt they'd go as far as retracking the entire ride a la Nor'Easter. If they even do anything, it's most likely they pull a SFNE and just give it a paint job and new trains.

So does this mean that KK needs to rename this Raging Eunuch River Ride?

The creation of this thread is a perfect example of the annoying entitled enthusiast mentality.
"sheesh"

The new entrance was one of those "had to be done" things. I'm sure over time the new entrance will fill out a bit.

Question for the SFGADV locals- is there a specific car or seat on Zumanjaro that is least likely to soil your clothes? I visited last season and rode twice (don’t remember which vehicles) and my pants and jacket were covered in KK grease. Was able to remove it with dish soap, but would prefer to avoid having stained clothes for the remainder of the day!
I have lost track how many times I've ridden Zum and this has not once ever happened to me or anyone I've ridden with. I know its a possibly and they have signage everywhere but I think you just got unlucky.
Same here, I don't think you need to be that worried about it.

This park received Gatekeeper, Valravn, and Steel Vengeance all within the last seven years. Even if there wasn't a global pandemic simultaneously ravaging public health and the economy - chill ya biscuits.

I mean I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder, but chalk me up in the group who'd prefer to see a classic, red-white-and-blue wooden coaster instead of a run-of-the-mill Vekoma Boomerang with a Nickelodeon complex.

Just kinda following what his county-by-county mask mandates have been (increasing) and what his counterpart in PA has done regarding bars; If you're not familiar, in PA, bars (outside of Philly) were allowed to resume bar-counter service about a month ago. But now, to "counter the increased spread," you cannot sit at a bar (must be at a table) and you must order "substantial food" (i.e., not just a bag of chips) and once you are done with your food you must cease drinking and leave the establishment. Because apparently COVID can tell the difference between where you're sitting in an establishment and whether or not you're also eating. It just seems inevitable for these governors to roll back their restrictions and close parks.
In regards to the second part of my statement, almost all states' governors have been making decrees related to COVID without any input from that states' legislature or public. When the state legislature tries to rein in the governors' authority, they are promptly veto'd, leading to my application of the title "Emperor."
Note to mods: I really didn't want to get political here but I was asked a direct question.
If you really didn't want to get political, you wouldn't constantly be making nudges and pop-shot references like "Emperor Insert-Governer-Here" in your posts as frequently as you do. Just own it at this point and maybe exercise a little more discipline in your posts.

I can't wait for things to get back to normal, if it ever happens. Just a few of the 2020 words and phrases I never want to hear again are "masks," "sanitize" and above all, "social distancing." I'm so tired of every product commercial on the radio adding those keywords before I cover half of my face to buy eggs and milk.
Don't forget that "in these uncertain times" every company is "still here for you", as well.

Hopefully we find out more soon. Really sad that it was her daughter's birthday celebration - bad enough to lose your mother, but I can't imagine how that'll impact her birthdays going forward.
-
^^ I get that, but when the park has a superior GCI coaster (or two depending on how you count) literally within a couple hundred feet, I'm not that worried about it.
-
They still need to RMC Wildcat tho.
QFT.

Looks like fun! It's nice of the park to be inclusive and have something to ride for the pussies who can't handle Skyrush.

I know it's perfectly safe, but that last photo is playing serious mindf**ks with me.

It even has an outline of an onion in the middle of the graphic. Definitely clear that's a parody shirt now, can't believe I missed it haha.
Here's the actual shirt in case people are curious:

HAHAHA Onion. Definitely Onion. Definitely calling it Onion from now on.

My inner 12-year-old is having Rainbow Road flashbacks watching that. #MarioKart

Oh wow... no impressions yet? Was really looking forward to seeing what the community thinks!
Same here! There are a few 'reaction videos' on YouTube but I figured the thread would be popping off by now.
It's almost as if there's a global pandemic going on that's making travel / vacations a bit difficult at the moment...
Also, I mean, it's a B&M hyper. Grab a Mad-Lib and fill it out with "fun", "floater air", and "people eater", and you've pretty much covered 95% of all reactions.
-
I, for one, am absolutely shocked at this totally unexpected news.
-
Oh well, we figured this was a possibility. Six Flags' habit of delaying construction / opening a new ride later than most other amusement parks came back to bite them here, especially considering Candymonium and Orion are able to open, but to be fair, I'm sure "global pandemic" wasn't a factor in the early planning stages. Certainly disappointing, but it's undoubtedly small in comparison to a lot of what's going on now. We'll ride it eventually!

One underrated update that I'm LOVING is the new "Expand" option for quotes within posts. Gone are the days of having to scroll past huge quote dumps in order to get to the new comment. Makes it flow so much better!
I'm really loving the updates!
