  1. I'll probably just hit up Knott's Merry Farm and Grinchmas over at USH. It's all I seem to do. SFMM is bringing back photo op's with Santa and they have a huge snow globe when you enter the park so I guess it has some holiday themeing? Other than that, I think that's all.
  2. I thought of this a while back as well and not only did I think of a ride, but maybe also a Halloween attraction? Basically my friends and I had an idea: You enter through the TARDIS as the facade for each room being transported through time and on the way you encounter different enemies/ monsters such as The Weeping Angels, The Family of Blood's Scarecrows, the Waters of Mars zombies and etc. We wanted to really have the idea for a maze/ Halloween attraction like this but due to the fact that we might get in trouble with BBC or sued we scrapped the idea. As for a ride, I thought of something along the lines of Torchwood where you'd experience how it was like to work for them taking down Daleks, Cybermen, etc. in an interactive dark ride. Or like previously mentioned, a dark ride that takes place on Galifrey during the Time War where you battled Daleks on your way to safety. This idea would work much better especially after the events that took place during "Day of the Doctor". Again, there's a lot of ideas that have floated through my head but they're all just food for thought, I would of course, love to see some type of Doctor Who themed attraction come to life someday.
  3. It all rely's on me and which park I'm going to so here's how I'll put it: PARKS NEAR ME: - Wallet - Backpack with extra Shirt/ Sweater - Phone - Camera/ Video Camera OUT OF TOWN PARKS: - All of the above - Extra Batteries I needa swap in case one dies - Shades - Extra $$$ just in case and that's about it.
  4. Some friends at the park today did some calculations on Full Throttle's average launches with seat belts now, and this is what I heard: - Average launch is about 2:30 with each launch exceeding 2:00 in time. - About 24 Launches per hour With that said capacity with the seat belts being checked went down a lot, averaging about only 432 PPH. YOLO!
  5. Pretty much confirms things. Six Flags is really over-exaggerating some times. Sheesh.
  6. If Full Throttle got seat belts that would be slightly disappointing as it ran great without them and had some awesome dispatch times. Oh well, Six Flags is gonna Six Flags.
  7. It was amazing and fit perfectly with the show's history and will lead the show into a whole different direction. I cried as it was so well made and the chemistry between all the Doctor's who appeared made it so enjoyable. Can't wait for the Christmas Special.
  8. Just a few more hours!
  9. Awesome additions, kinda glad KBF didn't add a coaster and IMO is heading in the absolute right direction. I'm mostly excited for the Calico Mine Ride refurb, as the TMLR refurb was amazing and is probably my favorite ride at Knott's. Hopefully Calico Mine Ride can be up there as well with this refurb taking place. Also interested to see how the improvements will take place in Camp Snoopy and exactly what new rides are coming. Very excited!
  10. See, that's the reason we can't have anything nice built in California without it being dumbed down or the state coming in to stop from it being built. This state really sucks.
  11. Oh noes! This'll kill the ride completely now! Seriously, wonder what the reason was for...
  12. Colin Baker days left until Day of The Doctor.
  13. ^ Necessarily, they wouldn't have to take out A LOT but if Knott's wanted to build such an attraction, yes they would make room.
  14. Always have wanted to go to Lagoon, have passed it multiple times on my road trips with companions and colleagues but I've never actually been inside. Hopefully 2015 is the year to finally get me going!
  15. Cheap and ugly, is still and always will be, BETTER THAN NOTHING
  16. I would like it if GR stayed as a wooden coaster with Topper Track. After all, it is KBF's only woodie...
  17. Forgot to say, I got the honor of going to the THOR: The Dark World Hollywood premier. I liked it, it was good, had some great action sequences and an awesome villain (Doctor!). While it wasn't dark or over the top, it was what it was: a fun superhero movie, something you'd expect from any MARVEL film. I'd give it an 8/10 Oh by the way, stay til the very end. 2 Post credits scenes for the win!
  18. ^ I felt the opposite, I loved this year and I too was one of the few who bought Killer Deal Nights (went 9 out of the 10 nights my pass allowed). Loved the Purge scare zone and their line up of mazes this year. Sure, Bill and Ted was cancelled and I too was mad at that decision but hey, hopefully next HHN will be bigger and better. I'll most likely buy KDN again next year due to how much I loved the event this year.
  19. So was DC Universe, and looked how awesome that turned out to be.
  20. I wouldn't judge. The fake tree was starting to show it's age and I hear the new entrance will be much more welcoming and nicer than the fake tree. Hopefully SFMM doesn't mess up with a new entrance/ makeover to the kids area.
