I would respectfully disagree about that. Toyz was 90% neon airbrush painted walls that barely popped with the glasses. I kind of laughed at that being "upgraded." House of a 1000 corpses was probably the best use of 3D in any haunt maze because of the technique they used (and continue to use, though Alice and Clowns didn't do as good of a job). I didn't like how it was used in Clowns but I did think Toys was good... The only thing I will laugh at is the fact that most of the scenes stayed the same which wasn't much of an "upgrade" but there were some new scenes.

I loved Fright Fest this year too... Would it be too much to say I liked it better than Scary Farm this year and was just below HHN for me? Aftermath was actually scary again for me, they didn't depend to heavily on fog, scare actors were giving it all they got etc. I loved Red's Revenge and Vault 666. Toys of Terror rehab was amazing as well, the 3D really worked and reminded me of HHN's House of 1000 Corpses' 3D effects. Hopefully this is a step up for years to follow. (Chupacabra can go though... Replace it with something new or give it a refurb like Toys of Terror). Scare zones were very fun as well. Interactive all the night and actors didn't break character at all. Raven stitch was really cool for being new.

It seems like Total Darkness is the worst maze at every Six Flags. At SFSTL they don't give you a glowstick, but it still is a horrible maze. Cool concept, horribly done. I beg to differ. SFMM's is really good.

You know it's a good day when Bill and Ted 3 has officially been confirmed by Alex Winter.

Tatsu's second station was in operation the majority of the summer, but slow ops kill the point of it anyways.

How to make Scream a BETTER ride: - Move it so that way a better coaster or thrill ride can take it's place.

^^ I bought the regular wristbands and we even had time to do some mazes a second time before they filled up completely... Saturday's in the middle of October are PACKED so I suggest buying the FOTL wrist bands if that's the case, but even with a regular wristband you can probably manage to do all the mazes.

^ Start with Total Darkness, that tends to fill up pretty quick (plus they open a bit earlier than the other mazes) and go counter clockwise from there. I tried that plan last year with 3 buds and we finished all mazes within the hour. I loved Fright Fest last year and I can't wait to go this year. Have fun!

^ By "not complaining" I meant that I'm not saying that they aren't great rides. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that at the mountain and I believe that's something along the lines we will get, and not the longest RMC that everyone's expecting ....

^ Sure it's RMC but just because it is doesn't mean you should expect something like Kolmardens Wildfire. Remember when Full Throttle was supposed to be the coaster of the century? That's what I'm saying.... Everyone here is expecting something big but in reality well get something along the lines of Outlaw Run or iRAT. (Not complaining)

^ I have faith in it, Frank Miller is amazing, I love all his works and the first Sin City was really good so I'll be looking forward to this. High hopes and low expectations.

^ Yes, there is clearing going on in DeJa Vu's new area. Everything is cleared except for the queue so something may be coming in these next couple of years. After all, slingshot wasn't made to be permanent...

This has to be the randomest lineup year for HHN, but still excited!

Heard from a lot of people that many wanted to keep trying but the heat was such a huge problem and if they even got off to apply sun screen or get water they'd automatically get disquallified. Plus, most people were trying but the rules were really strict, you had to come back on time from breaks and 5 people who were just 30 seconds late got disqualified, so it wasn't for lack of "trying" You could only get up during breaks as well and they were only 15 mins, so there's more truth that what you believe.
