Duffy must be a huge deal overseas. Which is funny considering he is probably the ONLY character at Walt Disney World you will ever see without any line. In Japan, are they as into pins and the ear hats as Americans are?
I thought these backwards trains are different trains rented from B&M (don't know if that is true). If SFMM is running Batman Backwards in spring how could SFOT have Batman Backwards as well?
You'd say or you hope? Two different things.
Well at this point I'm guessing they are looking into solutions to make Voyage smoother. I don't know if it is just wishful thinking but the cost of maintenance has to be adding up to the point where they are realizing they need a long-term solution for the ride.
I'd say Holiday World is most likely looking into Topper Track. I mean, with the whole Timberliner disaster I'm guessing they have decided to see if any other companies have better ways to make The Voyage smoother.
Thought it'd be cool to bump this thread.
Interesting to see that it has been almost 9 years since Kingda Ka opened and no other coaster has gone higher than it. I'm betting with the Polar Coaster we will finally see a coaster go over 500 feet. An Intamin Accelerator that goes over 500 feet would probably be uncomfortably fast.
I absolutely love the amount of details they are putting into this new area. The whole back story is a little too elaborate in my opinion, and the name is strange, but I'm sure it will look awesome once it's complete.
