  1. Space Mountain- Magic Kingdom
  2. I was finally able to watch Gravity for the first time tonight. Not only were the special effects the best I've ever seen, but it was possibly one of Bullock's best performances. I hoping it wins Best Picture on Sunday, but my favorites typically don't win.... 2009- My favorite: Avatar, Winner: The Hurt Locker 2010- My favorite: The Social Network, Winner: The King's Speech 2011- My favorite: Hugo, Winner: The Artist 2012- My favorite: tie between Argo and Lincoln, Winner: Argo I guess last year one of my favorite's won, so maybe Gravity will win after all. I watch and am interested in the Academy Awards, but the only films that ever seem to win are: A: Somewhat based on real life events B: Set sometime in the past C: Not utilizing heavy special effects or CGI D: Not box office giants/blockbusters Gravity doesn't seem like something the voters would choose, but who knows, a lot of people seem to be pushing for it to win.
  3. How could you not expect it to musical? I guess before the movie came out, Olaf was the only thing really promoted in the trailers, but right after the release the marketing became heavily based on the good reviews and the songs. I could see somebody not liking Frozen, but I don't see how somebody would think it was plain awful. However, it's your opinion, so I'll respect it.
  4. Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City
  5. Oscar Awards
  6. Six Flags Over Georgia
  7. Post from the SFGAm thread
  8. I would like to see a new waterpark attraction, preferably a ProSlide Behemoth Bowl. I think it's been posted here that the carousel will most likely get a much-needed refurbishment and relocation to the Palace Theater plaza for it's 100th anniversary.
  9. Looks painfully rough. But why do the trains have the strange headrests?
  10. Another post from that thread when Darien Lake announced there would be an upcoming "entertainment announcement"
  11. Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast- Six Flags St. Louis
  12. For years my grandparents have owned a copy of the Jersey Boys soundtrack and I have always loved listening to it. Last Thursday, I finally got to see it, and I absolutely loved it. The acting and singing was amazing, it was hilarious, and the set didn't look like much at first, but the way it was able to transform into so many different settings was cool. My dad said "The story sounds like what typically happens to a band" but Jersey Boys has a clever script and the songs aren't just thrown in, they fit in with the story.
  13. The website says 48", but I believe it has been that for a while.
  14. Cedar Point giving all their rides a 54" height requirement What is worse than every wooden coaster being set on fire?
