  1. I think it's anyone's guess for now. I wouldn't even bother without Fastlane Plus.
  2. Thanks for your prejudice, but I'd be willing to bet it all that I've done more caring acts within the past year, with tangible results, than you might in a 100 lifetimes. I'm not easily offended, but you just shit on a lot of people in here who are American, and believe it or not, caring people.
  3. Yeah, because it's only an American thing. This place is a shithole and everywhere else is a utopia. Thanks for your caring words spoken from your pedestal. You can buy me some pierogi, now.
  4. The filter won't work anymore, no matter how hard you try.
  5. I've never done a membership or a dining plan. I'm holding out for the unlimited beer and Uber fun pass.
  6. I wonder how they'll enforce the vaccination standards. Hand stamps or wrist bands??? I wouldn't be surprised if the parks will keep the policies as already announced this year, since most of them have lightened up.
  7. Great report. NTAG seems right up my alley, since SV is almost too much for me.
  8. Dude, I hope you're not being serious. If you are, this is exactly why we can't have anything fun anymore. I don't see anywhere this is marketed toward children. I'm positive there isn't an age limit to ice cream. I think I've even seen my 80 year old in laws eating it, as bizarre as that sounds.
  9. I thought you were beating a dead horse with the haiku, but that one got me! I'm not much of a craft beer/microbrewery beer drinker anymore, but that looks damned good. It might be heavy though, so it's probably a kickoff beer, before switching to piss water.
  10. We almost bought in advance in 2019, and I'm glad we didn't. Every booth seemed to be at least 20 minutes long. We did our usual wraps and salads during the day. BBQ and beer for dinner.
  11. Whatever it is, it's sure to be the most exciting amusement park attraction added in Missouri for years to come, as history has proven.
  12. I don't think it's psychological. It's physics. (from my very limited mathematically deficient knowledge.)
  13. Saint Louis crime isn't likely to go down, and it's not isolated to just the city, due to the ability to travel. Same with Memphis. https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/blog/top100dangerous https://www.neoch.org/top-poorest-cities-in-us Why invest in entertainment here? You can't tell me these things aren't taken into consideration by corporate, when looking at it from a long term investment standpoint. I'm not looking for a sociological argument as to why this is, or how to fix it. There are many opinions. Friday I got split open under my right eye because of someone from St. Louis participating in a mob in our city, 20 minutes away from Saint Louis. It's getting worse, but I'm not in the mood for debate, after 36 hours of night shift violence over the weekend.
  14. Wrong answer. Has anyone ridden Orion with full trains? Does it feel any faster?
  15. Yep. I'm sorry to offend anyone in denial, but our area is a shithole. It just is. It's surprising we have as good of a park as we do. If SFSTL was a true reflection of our greater metropolitan area, the entirety of it would look how it does around Superman. (Imagine living in the STL metro area combined with being an Illinois resident. FML)
  16. I just looked at that yesterday when searching for pictures of the Mule-Go-Round. (I was debating on changing my avatar.)
  17. Adding the vocals was terrible. SDC had slower instrumental only versions of classic and modern songs when we were there last.
  18. I really liked the Bluegrass covers played throughout Silver Dollar City. Companies should never put profits first. Shame.
  19. Does anyone still have the photoshopped banner making fun of new upcoming attractions? That's all I can remember about it to describe it, but I think it resurfaced a few years ago.... I believe the Mule-Go-Round may have been referenced.
  20. Has Indiana Beach made any more improvements during the off-season?
  21. I just don't think the ROI is there, man. Just purely trying to realistically speculate, I think we'd be more likely to receive something that costs less as our next roller coaster, like a Raptor clone or some RMC love. (Keep your hands off of Screamin' Eagle) I'd much rather the park go that route in order to leave some scratch aside for continued improvements.
  22. I think it's useful and entertaining to discuss topics like LIMS. I'm thankful for your knowledge and I think it's relevant. Keep it coming, as far as I'm concerned. I just don't want to discourage the employees from participating in our conversations. It may sound like I'm shit talking some of the posters, but I'm trying not to. RIP, HWFan used to provide us with extensive information 5-10'ish years ago, including direct input from the park president (Dave). He was an incredible person, but he stopped providing us with information after that, because he got discouraged from the constant suggestions and negativity. I was partially to blame at that time, despite eventually meeting him and texting/snapping with him frequently, which I truly miss. I don't think we're to that level of scaring employees off yet, but I like our employee base on this thread. Seriously, thank you, to all the SF employees who provide us insight. Sorry for getting off topic.
  23. This thread went from being grateful for changes to Batman's queue and adding a new sign, to suggesting spending tens of millions of dollars on removing and replacing one of the top attractions. I'll take expected hiccups with Mr. Freeze over going full blown Volcano.
