That brings up another point. I used to defend Viper and say it's still a good ride. I'm poorly mistaken. It was the worst ride by far on my last visit ahaha. And about Riddlers, everyone I know that has ridden it usually hesitates to ride it again since it f***s ur crotch. I'm just saying I wonder how hard it would be to add sit down trains...

Whoever said SFMM need another good sit down coaster is a genius. I have started thinking I really wish SFMM could add sit down B&M trains to Riddlers. I feel like if they make it like Maverick with some inversions and some airtime/goodies the gp won't look at it like another big coaster like Goliath nor another inversion coaster like Scream.

Movieland Studios Discussion Thread
Xceleratorfan96 replied to DragonKhan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm glad I found this thread. I wish the Invertigos and GIBs weren't so unreliable because GIBs are some of my favorite coasters so I know invertigos would be fun too. And adding Two Face would be much better for SFStL than Flashback... -
Very true my good sir. Knott's took this year off to make the park sparkly, and if they did that and some GhostRider work, I would consider it a vert successful year. Realize how Knott's does stuff like this and look at how it directly correlates into having more attendance each year than SFMM..... Well from all of y'all giving me hope I now believe this giga I have wanted could happen if Knott's wants to put in the effort Even if we do sit this year out from a coaster addition.... after my last visit to SFMM I am really beginning to see how much the quality of a park matters rather than the quantity of coasters.

During summer, SFMM's best days to visit are Tuesday thru Thursday. Friday people are starting their weekend and Monday they are ending it. I wouldn't mind a world record loop, but that's about it.There's not enough room for fastest and I don't think we could have tallest on this coast with the earthquake standards. But I'm not sure.

True. I'm just skeptical to believe they could jam a giga coaster into Knott's. I mean maybe if they could use some of the storage area and definitely if they demo'd the KOD building. With Boomerang and PP gone there is no question of a Blitz coaster. Also Knott's is surrounded by residential which is a problem because of noise.

Not to mention that the capacity would give a Fuji Q ride a run for its money. Usually, it runs one boat. As a result, in the same day, I once waited 10 minutes for Xcelerator and an hour for this SOB. I have never seen a boat ride take so long to dispatch. If they tear it down, I wouldn't miss it. It's stupid too because Tidal Wave at SFMM had two boats when I visited yesterday. I know it's not the same ride but they're similar.

SFMM yesterday had a full parking lot, but I think most of it was for Hurricane Harbor. SFMM only had over hour waits (consistently) for Lex and Superman....yesterday just sucked because I heard the temps got to almost 120!!!! If you have any questions ask me!!! BTW for the airtime talk, I got at least 5 seconds of airtime on Goliath!!! And Lex was sexy!!! Oh and did I mention Scream was down? And when I asked a worker later he said that Scream has been having a lot of trouble lately..... interesting....

Perilous Plunge sucks. You get one little drop.... big whoop. You can get the same vertical drop on Xcelerator, but with no OTSRs! The park also wouldn't need to make up for the lost water ride, let's not forget they have Timber Mountain AND Bigfoot Rapids... I could definitely part with Boomerang and PP for something like Maverick. I would love the park get something with an awesome drop, but they simply don't have the room.

Ok I know the building needs to be scrapped guys, I was just stating what I heard. And let's be honest, I think it would be a lot easier for the park to build a dark ride than a new giga. Even a mega coaster would be hard to fit into Knott's. And don't get me wrong, I would even love an I305 at my favorite park!

I agree, I want airtime like any other SFMM enthusiast...... but the park seems inversion crazy and it's up to them. And you right, hydraulic isn't sketchy just to me magnets are so much better and more perfected, on a ride like this if it's not a giant launch then they could just use magnets. But I may be wrong I'm not an expert yet at this kind of stuff
