^^^^That would be sick!! The most frustrating part about GhostRider was I knew it would be a quality wooden coaster cuz it's length, but its so f***ing bumpy! Not even like Colossus bumpy, like^^^^it feels like it's gunna fall apart because it feels like there's an earthquake going on or something!!

That would make since because Dive Machines seem like sweet coasters and there were only two installed. And when was that contract made? I know it's random but I'm pretty sure Six Flags Dubailand planned to have a dive machine.... lol and wasn't that like a 2010 project? Idk in the end this thing would be sweet because it replaces PP vertical drop but actually hangs you there. And it may include some inversions and airtime???(I've never actually rode one)

^^^Yes, and at that time they may be selling 2013 season passes where you get the rest of 2012 free which I think will just be $60 online or at the gate (but buy online it makes the process a ton smoother) I'm not sure the hours but season pass processing is open before the park opens. You can expect a big line, so I would call and ask SFMM to see when it opens to get to season pass processing somewhat near opening time.

Wow, thank you to whoever brought up the idea for the dive machine. Conidering the only ones in the US are in Virginia and Florida.... it would not only be a sweet addition for Knott's but for the western United States! But while this is a very educated guess there has sadly been no signs of the Knott's management seeming interested in one of these babies

I've always been fascinated by dive coasters and wouldn't mind one either. And they could easily fit it in just the place of PP! I made a VERY ROUGH sketch of how they could use the land of Boomerang and KOD were removed. While making it I could have easily not used Boomerang's area of the KOD area.... red= chain hill black=actual layout purple=station green= possible queue?

I think you're underestimating the amount of size that a giga takes up, with all its extra speed requiring much wider turns than can be handled in that spot. Just for reference, comparing I305 to the entire Boardwalk at Knott's: So basically something a little smaller than I305 would fit. It doesn't have to be 300 ft either. Basically if it has a drop larger than 250ft, is steeper than Goliath @SFMM, and has some airtime and that good stuff, it is the best mega in California and maybe the west coast, which is the goal anyways isn't it? Btw I could see the entrance for this coaster being at Chareston Circle.... maybe that's why they just refurbed it!!

I agree with what you said too. I mean Intamin seems good just because of the B&M roar, but I guess that isn't a huge issue, or another words is indeed an issue that could be solved. I have to say I disagree with this. This coaster would more than likely not even have to touch Ghost Town. This coaster would hopefully not even need to touch most of the Roaring Twenties. I don't remember that area being very alive or interesting either. Knott's will alway have Fiesta Village and Ghost Town, imo the pride theming of Knott's. In that case, Knott's will always have enough family attraction, and a great variety. Now if they could use the Boardwalk for this coaster, they could even give SFMM a run for their money in the thrill category imo. I do agree with you on Boomerang. It is still a mediocre ride, but with it's removal it could open room for this new coaster, in the end keeping it centralized in the Boardwalk. I do agree with your

See but Knott's already has the Sky Cabin, Windseeker, Xcelerator, and Supreme Scream in the sky so I think the neighbors already have their skyline intruded. And the surrounding area of Buena Park has nice weather but is an already metropolitan area with no real views.... If the talk now is really Intmain or B&M, I can party because we are that much closer to a coaster! And about the year round part.... year round parks are only open on weekends so they could still easily construct during the week

Huh, that's funny. I definitely wouldn't say they suck, but I would definitely say they are two of the more "intense" coasters at the park, meaning you're probably not going to want to ride them over and over very often. Viper is a forceful ride, sit in the back and the drop and first half is quite a ride. That roughness people complain about is just 20 year old track and car design by Arrow. To me Riddlers' order of inversions and how HUGE they are make it a fun looping coaster with a few pops of air. Okay your right, suck is a little harsh.... but I am more of a smooth kind of person unless it's like X2 where the awesomeness copes for the hurt.

It may sound amateur, but do Johnny Rockets and Kingdom of the Dinosaurs share the same building? I'm a little confused on where kingdom of the dinosaurs used to be. ^^^And I'm pretty sure those are other properties, Knott's is pretty land locked, they had to go through a lot just to get GhostRider to cross the street so idk if they could use two of those open fields. Not to mention they're RIGHT next to residential.

Knott's seriously doesn't need this. I mean your looking at a park that gets 100 tops. Magic Mountain has the same set of water rides but like averages 100. I never got to ride the 1st gen, only the 2nd gen with the stupid OTSRs. So it had no thrill factor and it got you WAY too wet to enjoy, like uncomfortably soaked for the rest of the day. Opening this up for a new coaster is great, like mentioned the Boardwalk has no historical value so it's not like they're ruining anything again And like I said if they can do some other demo beside this (Boomerang, KOD) then they could definitely fit a coaster.
