  1. Lightning Racer at Hersheypark, the Lightning side, at night. And...I had a tilt a whirl to myself a few times. Many people were staring at me.
  2. Hmmm...worst visit had to be Great Adventure last year. I didn't know discounts advertised on TV were online only, so even though I had a season pass, I still ended up paying full price for my nephew. We rode one ride (thank god for flashpass for green lantern), and then the power went out. Couldn't get food, drinks, anything, and it was hot as hell outside. The power came back on fully about three hours later, and while it got less crowded because of the power outage, it was still packed. We did everything we could do in terms of rides, and then we went back on Green Lantern. I hyperextended my knee and had to be carted off on an emergency vehicle to the shady little med station, and then I had to leave the park. Then it poured down raining the whole way home to the point where I couldn't see, got lost, and ended up driving around on back roads with my nephew, who had eaten too much and was feeling sick. Fantastic.
  3. ^^Grapeslie, you and me both. We'll ride the coasters while the crazy people ride the Ferris wheels (my grandmother saw a horrific Ferris wheel accident and thought it would be smart to tell her little eight or nine year old granddaughter all about it). Thunderhawk at Dorney Park scared me so bad I didn't ride anything but the scrambler and the whip for about 10 years.
  4. What about these new GoPro cameras? They've got secure straps with chest or wrist mounts, they film HD video, and I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone regarding whether or not any of the parks are allowing them. Has anyone had any experiences with the GoPro and coaster POVs?
  5. ^^What is really sad is that I remember when Dorney Park's Thunderhawk was one of the "Coaster" coasters.
  6. Hello all! I'm a newbie to this site but have been riding coasters and thrill rides pretty intensely for the past 10 years or so, and have been a part of a few enthusiast sites and clubs for about five years. I hope to make some new friends and some new ride buddies as well. Anytime you wanna go coasting, let me know!
