  1. Yeah, you summed up pretty much everything that is ever talked about in this thread. And I totally agree about connecting the already existing path behind Wolverine Wildcat. That's about their only room for expansion at this point other than the area by Grand Rapids. I'm not counting on absolutely anything next year though. I've stopped getting my hopes up. But at this rate, the park wont even be operating anymore within a decade.
  2. Hopefully Great America by the end of the summer. If not, definitely next year along with Canada's Wonderland.
  3. heh... just went back in the thread for Maverick and Gatekeeper. You're right.
  4. I had a copy back in the day, but my parent's computer was too garbage to play it (sadly). So I never played it. I just stuck to RCT.
  5. For having the smallest maintenance budget, down-time sure seems to be low. I'm sure whatever their maintenance budget is, it's suitable for the park's operations and would be adjusted accordingly if another large attraction was implemented. Smallest budget for the smallest park seems to make sense.
  6. I think a bowl slide would be a bit redundant with already having a funnel slide
  7. Yes, sadly my Wolverines have become quite embarrassing as of late.
  8. ^More proof that Michigan is the superior state
  9. On my trip about a month back it was probably the single most uncomfortable coaster experience I've ever had. They finally listened to the community with Mantis, so I'm sure they'll eventually do the same with Mean Streak. The ride always seems to be a walk-on, even on busy days. Nobody likes it. I honestly don't care what they do with it eventually as long as something changes for the better.
  10. As much as I'd like to see Mean Streak get the RMC treatment, I don't really think the layout is suitable for it.
  11. Just saw the trailer and it quite clearly blows away RCT World's disaster of a trailer. Stylistically simplistic, yet it looks fantastic. Then again, the trailer probably doesn't accurately represent gameplay. Looking forward to this title much more than RCTW. I'm hoping it will finally be the RCT killer, much like Cities: Skylines was for SimCity. Frontier developed RCT3, but they also developed Thrillville. Hopefully this title is more on the RCT3 side of that spectrum.
  12. Dont get your hopes up. A little birdie in a dream told me dont expect anything more then a disko or waterslide. And that is base case scenario. No insider stuff, just a huge hunch A ProSlide water coaster like Mammoth or Wildebeast at Holiday World would be freakin awesome. But a disko would be absolute disappointment.
  13. Corkscrew at Michigan's Adventure. Also my first coaster with inversions. 3rd coaster all together.
  14. Pretty normal. I refused to go on Demon Drop at CP before it was relocated to Dorney. I would ride everything else, even Power Tower, but something about Demon Drop just scared the bejesus out of me.
  15. So would other CF parks hypothetically make announcements on the same day as CP? I never really paid attention to how CF did that in the past. I know Six Flags tends to shell out all their announcements in a pretty short time span.
  16. Notice that the train route is basically tunnels of foliage now, like they stopped grooming the back 9 so we can't see what lies beyond. Dippin' Dots guy tells me they're pouring footers... Don't get my hopes up like that man Do you think they'd make an official announcement on the same day as CPs dive machine?
  17. Wow, I had no idea. I love those two. Would be cool if Grant was in on it too. Hope it's a hit.
  18. Havent heard anything about it, I assume it wasnt renewed. There is at least one more new show though. Kari Byron and Tori Bellici (formerly of MythBusters) are now doing a show for Travel Channel where they ride and film roller coasters, among other theme park activities. It hasn't started airing yet, but the stars have been posting photos of themselves filming it the last few weeks. Source?
  19. They all do, But they aren't on display. You have to go to customer service and ask for them.
  20. So if they happen to add a hyper gt-x next year, or something else, do any of you think there would be a significant increase in ticket price? Seems like ticket prices are constantly going up regardless. I don't think I ever remember a time where a park lowered their general admission price for the year. Cedar Fair parks seem to be a lot more fairly priced than Six Flags, but the consistent increase year after year for all parks kind of concerns me.
