I'm still not understanding the "I'm slipping!" part? (because I've seen it mentioned in another FB post, where a girl (who says she NEVER gets on rides), claims she also "slipped" on this same log flume. I've watched the flume on YouTube, and wonder if he meant he slid back in the boat a bit on the little 'lift' just prior to the drop? Feel terrible for the family, but yeah, they are not coming across well in the media (reeks of a money grab), and this accident seems totally on the kid. Gramma and Grampa might have seen it differently, but multiple folks are supporting the park's version -- the kid stood up at the top of the drop.

I view some tumblr pages, and watch videos on Youtube. . but the only place I PROVIDE content, and actively participate (other than on message boards such as TPR, or on Comic sites).. is going to be Facebook. So yes, I post, comment, "like" and share often. I'm old school--my flip phone (no, really) makes calls only. I don't text, don't Snapchat, tweet, vine, or Instagram. not super helpful, I'm sure, but that's me

that's because it isn't always open -- not even during the weekend POSTED hours. sometimes you go out there, and it's not running. if they promoted it (and hopefully continue to maintain it).. it would be a draw for the casino, I'd think. But it's SBNO at least 5 days a week, and only operates for a few hours on the days it IS open. I disagree. I believe the reason they haven't maintained it or kept it open more because it isn't a big draw anymore. Why would someone go out of their way to ride an old Desperado when they can find better much closer? "much better, closer?" oh really. . "Roller Coaster" at NYNY, "CanyonBlaster" and "El Loco" at CircusCircus? two of those three are good, but Desperado blows them away. .and is not more than an hour car drive. (Las Vegas to Primm is 48 minutes).

well. . tho I was wrong on the cliffhanger (guessing we're gonna get some death next week, huh?), but at least i read the signs correctly once the Producers started doing damage control. . about Glenn's fate. I call BS on the Talking Dead where they only read comments or talked about folks reacting POSITIVELY. I know a lot of folks who feel manipulated, and feel that the show cheated.

I'm so sorry to hear this!! Sorry I haven't been on to post in a while - my father passed away and I was in Atlanta with my mom for a couple of weeks and am now getting caught back up with my life. condolences on your loss, jynx.

Keep in mind, the first 6 episodes have all taken place in one day! (the day they went to lead the herd). . so it seems long, but really isn't. yeah, I DO think it will be resolved, likely in the last seconds of the episode. I think he was rescued by Negan's folks, and it will be revealed they have him captive. Speculation based on COMIC. . .so potential Spoilers below: Negan's people are called "the Saviors". . and they were basically revealed in Sunday's episode! The Wolves were established that they do not have guns -- they use knives and blunt objects. So the folks shooting at Sasha, Abe, and Darryl are the Saviors. more proof? Jeffery Dean Morgan was recently announced as cast. . . as Negan. but the BIG spoil from last episode? the two survivors that rob Darryl and take off with his bike? although not named, they are ABSOLUTELY "Dwight' and "Sheryl". . . Dwight is one of Negan's high ranked lieutenants, and is known for his scarred face -- because Negan punishes his folks by holding a hot iron to their faces for infractions. in the comic, Dwight is scarred because Negan took Sheryl for one of his wives, and he tried to visit her (for sex) and got caught. the TV version is obviously not going that way. . instead, they apparently are going to have Dwight punished for running away. proof that the two were Dwight and Sheryl? They stole Darryl's crossbow -- Dwight's signature weapon:

they had to find SOME way to write the actress back in, and to explain where she disappeared to. having her trapped in Enchanted Forest?. . that's a great way to fill in blanks, and get her back into the show (now that her other show is cancelled). and they absolutely are setting her up to be in a couple with Mulan (note her comment about only having had "one boyfriend").

it won't live up to the hype, but it IS a good film. I never saw it in theaters, but my partner bought me the special edition on BluRay for a gift. I thought it was good, but didn't blow me away.

not sure why it's funny, but I'm being honest. . we LOVED it.

I started feeling ill on Apple Turnover at KD. . . yeah, the shorter program would have been better.

I'm gonna say "Woodstock Express" at Kings Dominon. it's a Junior coaster, located in Camp Snoopy. . so doesn't seem to get much respect, but we thought it was was close to the top of the coasters at KD, and EASILY the best woodie there. not only do those trains fly down the track, but also a few unexpected pops of air-time. we loved it.

I'm going to be 49 in April, and my partner is going to be 57 in March. He's not able to do anything with strong forces, so he tends to sit and watch if I do coasters that feature that -- but on our recent trip to Kings Dominion, he DID get on: Rebel Yell, Hurler (mistake), Ricochet (the mouse), Flight of Fear, Anaconda, Volcano, and the Woodstock Coaster. leaving me to ride the rest solo. . but he did pretty good. as for me? I will ride most things (other than a top spin. . HATE those). . but I really am, in most cases, a 1-and-done.

Yes, he's dead in the comics - Negan beats him to death with Lucille (his barbed wire covered bat), in front of the whole group. most folks believe that Negan will be revealed as the leader of the Wolves in the Television version. as for Rick's hand.. I think that was just a nod to the comics. The Governor is who chops off Rick's hand in the comics, and the creator (Kirkman) has gone on record for years, saying it was a bad decision on his part. so yeah, I think just a nod to the comics for readers when Rick cut's himself.

That happens EVERYWHERE. here in Austin, we actually have a nude beach (no really. . it's an official State Park too: "Hippie Hollow"). and yeah. .the people who get naked are not necessarily whom one wants to see naked. Of course, nudisim is not about that at all. (not that i'm into it, but I try not to judge the bodies of folks that are)
