A few photos from this evening, Over at the South Station progress is finally going to be picking up soon. Some new paint schemes are coming to Marvel The Autobots are going to begin stocking this place in very early March A few days ago I posted that the steel for the Gringotts facade went vertical but after actually walking over there I realized its actually building 65-Ollivanders. This Ollivanders will be MUCH larger with 3 showrooms Some detail work on Moe's

I attended both events this past year and I just want add that Silent Hill in Orlando was a last minute rush job. Another IP was the target and could not be signed in time. That same IP has already been inked for this year and will indeed be a SS haunt. Since others have already guessed it at my other forum home, I'll give a great hint but won't confirm to anyone that guesses. London is in the title

Not to get off topic but I think it was the Superstar Parade that had HHN them get rid of the scare zones. The park has to leave the most of the street sets up during the day which would have disrupted the daily parade and its spectators. Now before you remind me that there was a parade in HHN 2004, that was a two-park event and the scare zones were in the old bone yard and studio backlot. I did think HHN was pretty weak this year but the active construction sites are more distracting at night since they are full of white light. I thought it distracted from the immersive atmosphere that I like. The entire event was a little bit of a wreck this year. Between Creative kicking A&D out of a house already under construction at 44, failed attempts at a great IP ( which is coming this year btw), construction deadzones, houses literally having to switch venues well past initial deadlines, and so on it created a thrown together type feel. But I do want to say that A&D did the best they could with what they were given, with the exception of no icon. Still for the life of me can't figure that decision out. Also for those who may be curious a new large section of steel has gone vertical in front of Gringotts. Over many many more months this large steel structure will be the actual facade, entry, and massive bank queue for Gringotts. I can go into a few details about the bank queue area if anyone is interested. Oh and almost forgot, the planned refurb for JPRA that was scheduled to start on March 4th and last 3 weeks has been cancelled. More on that little nugget later.

I know it was just a joke so to speak about the horror of sidewalk paint coming up and fading but new paints and compounds are being tested right now. If you look just next to the Bart graffiti fence to the left of the Kwik E Mart you'll notice several small sections of sidewalk paint already being tested. The Krustyland sub section of this Springfield expansion will feature a lot of sidewalk paint.

That's correct and in that order but add in Androids on the end (Comic Book Guys shop). Which as I said earlier will be a facade only. The old IFFF side is being rushed at this point so they can close down the rest of the waterfront side for a complete rebuild as well. Due to a bottleneck effect they cannot wall off the rest of the waterfront just yet. I'm sure a local like Rob noticed the current walls create a VERY narrow walkway already. Fun Fact: In the original plans General Changs Taco Italiano was going to be placed in between the Kwik E Mart and Moe's. So the original line up was to be Kwik E Mart, General Changs, Moe's, Krustyburger, and then Kentucky Fried Panda, followed by renovated restrooms. But in the end marketing and creative decided that no one would recognize General Changs as expected. So Changs was dropped and the KFP put in its place. And to complete the facade Androids is going on the end. The entire land will be very well done with a HIGH level of detail throughout.

This comes as no surprise given the massive success of the Orlando Resort. I think we can pretty much assume Hogwarts with the FJ and Hogsmeade with a much larger Ollivanders are a guarantee. As a fan of the series it would be really nice to see Universal give Osaka, Hollywood, and HP2 in Orlando an attraction unique to each resort. Its going to be cool to watch all of this construction over the next 3 years and watch all of these attractions come together. -

Turtle Trek was awesome and is a huge improvement over the previous manatee exhibit. I was there for media day as well, and how awesome is it to have a picture of my back on the site I grew up reading FYI I am the guy playing the turtle video game. -
