  1. Well correct me if I'm wrong. But don't immelmans return you in the direction you came? And a dive loop will turn you either 90*ish to the left or right? These two elements are confusing. They can both turn you around the way that you came, but dive loops can be entered from either the side (Bizarro @ Great Adventure) or the front (Dark Knight @ SFNE). What do you think the height requirement will be for this? X-Flight is 54" while Wild Eagle is only 50". Cedar Point seems to have rather low height requirements, so do you think it will be 50" like Wild Eagle?
  2. It does looks like it has the potential to be a pretty forceful ride. Maybe B&M finally got the memo.
  3. I was at Splish Splash (Long Island waterpark) and there were many people in line that were yelling at the ride attendant telling her that she is going to be fired after they tell the management that she is letting the people with the H2Go pass go before the regular people on line. Being one of those H2Go members, this was hilarious. At one point everyone on the line started clapping and cheering because they thought they were letting the regular line go, but it was instead just a large H2Go group. They realized halfway through and responded with "OMG YOU SUCK" and "I hate you! You are going to be fired!" comments.
  4. 170 sounds about right. It looks pretty close to Wicked Twister.
  5. Ride the HUSS Revolution they said... It would be fun they said... Here is an Intamin Super Pack picture: If you are interested in seeing the thread, you can find it at Shyguysworld and RctLounge. Due to the ban of certain group members, the thread cannot be posted here, sorry.
  6. I've been on Vortex at Carowinds and Green Lantern at Great Adventure and I haven't had any problems on either. I think Stand-Up coaster have potential to be amazing, although the layouts are all too similar and follow a typical B&M coaster layout. I enjoy them and wouldn't mind seeing a comeback. It might be cool to do a stand-up launch, similar to the Incredible Hulk's. Not sure how it would feel, but it sounds like a cool experience.
  7. I think that RCT2 is easier which is why it comes off as more realistic. It's easier to make things look good than it is in RCT3. However, I have to choose RCT3 as the more realistic game because if something is unrealistic, it can be changed with CS, CTRs, and CT. Peeps are really the only cartoonish part of RCT3 now. Tracks are realistic, trains are realistic, and scenery is realistic.
  8. You should try the water challenge on El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure. That would be pretty entertaining.
  9. Did Brandon finally release his CTR? Or are you testing it for him? No I haven't finished the CTR yet, that is Techno_Dude's B&M 2 Seater.
  10. Great Adventure cannot pull off 1500 per hour with 3 trains. Running two trains they were averaging 600 riders per hour so I doubt that one more train would do that much. Even during the summer last year with 3 trains the capacity was low. The ride was at least a 2 hour wait from the one hour mark sign on the queue.
  11. I noticed that about the paint in Green Lantern's station too. It didn't come off on my clothes, but it did feel sticky. It seems that you went on a good day, it was packed from opening to closing on Thursday.
  12. I probably wouldn't have noticed that it was The Hulk if it weren't for Dr. Doom's FearFall. That was a dead giveaway. I too would have just seen it as Bizarro.
  13. All of the coasters were running when the park opened except for Kingda Ka. Kingda Ka started testing around 11:30 or so. Has anyone else noticed this shirt in the gift shop?
  14. You are going to want to lower the amount of sides on those circles, or else the poly count will be ridiculously high I don't believe I have shown this here yet...
  15. It was almost my first, but I skipped it and went to Rolling Thunder (I think). Rolling Thunder can go too . I'd love to see some dueling GCI woodies there, or even dueling Gravity Group coasters with Timberliners . It would boost attendance and still be a family coaster. A man can dream, can't he? The last thing that park needs is more crowds! @Yoshifan that was my theory as well. I figured since school was still in session for a day it wouldn't be too crowded but we were both wrong unfortunately. More crowds = more money. With that logic it would be better to stop adding rides and start removing.

  17. I'm glad that it isn't going to be scrapped, but I wish it was staying in the US. The first time I went to Great Adventure it was closed and then that off season they removed it for Dark Knight. I was pissed. Really wanted to ride it. I highly doubt I'll ever be in Brazil, so goodbye Chiller!
  18. Quite a bit of complaining considering you went on one of the busiest days of the year. I would expect it to be crowded. I also think that Green Lantern is more fun than GASM was. Scream Machine was just too rough for me.
  19. Kingda Ka, Great Bear, Diamondback and Leviathan are 4 of my favorites.
