  1. I am not sure. They look just like the old ones. But I don't know why they would bring them if they're getting brand new trains.
  2. The entrance will be located in CAC across from the bumper cars. If you look on SFNEOnline.org you can see the blueprints and plans for the location of the ride. I would rather them have taken out Flashback and placed it there. But, a coaster is a coaster.
  3. ^ That's true. It will at least look "new" to the general public who don't know where it came from. It's just rides like Thunderbolt really need it and it's getting annoying when all these other rides receive care and not that.
  4. Just in case anyone didn't notice this, Six Flags New England's Facebook posted a few photos of the Goliath Construction. They also posted to their Facebook that the new coaster would be repainted, but the same colors. To me this seems kind of pointless unless they changed the colors.
  5. Honestly, the line up Great Adventure has coming just seems so boring to me. I have a feeling everyone will want to ride Sky Screamer, so the line will be huge, and it doesn't seem that fun. Just a smaller, crappier version of Cedar Fair's Windseeker. Plus they have Flying Elephants? I just wish if they wanted to put flat rides in this season, they should have been something new and amazing.
  6. Can anyone guess what I asked my mom to get me for Christmas? And I just got a new Blue-Ray player. I'm so excited.
  7. The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga... I know, don't judge.
  8. Just curious, how much does it cost to go? and Can anybody attend this event? I would love to go one time. I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer and work in the amusement park rides business, I hope.
  9. There is a Rodeway Inn on Beach Blvd which is about a seven minute walk to KBF's main entrance. And it's less than $80 a night, even less with AAA discount. I've stayed there many times. Are you sure you want to drive from San Diego to SFMM on event day. That's quite a long treck to then spend over 12 hours in the park. I would suggest coming up to Valencia the night before if you can. I'm going with Kevin, so the problem is we are trying to save money by staying at his brother's house as much as we can. We just figured we would wake up really early and drive to the park.
  10. I was wondering that myself. Maybe they will do construction on one side, and only run the other track. Then switch it when one side is complete. It would be a shame to shut the ride down just for that.
  11. Hey! I'm Kyle. I'm 19. I just registered to be a Club TPR member and I'm also a member of ACE. I love roller coasters and amusement parks. I'm in school to become a mechanical engineer and I would love to work as a roller coaster designer or an engineer at a park.
  12. The last roller coaster I rode was a test ride on Gotham City Gauntlet on the last day at Six Flags New England this season.
  13. This is going to be my first time as a TPR member, my first trip to the West Coast, and my first TPR event. I'm beyond excited and I'm counting down the days right now.
  14. I still really want to go here...but it's so far away.
