Darn, May 12th? I'm there on the 4th, that's too close to feel ok about missing it. The latest test video shows the train going silver star speed again. Surely they'll crank it up a notch to match the mighty khan.

For some insane reason I've just booked to go to Salou for 3 days at the start of May (got a bargain), knowing that this coaster will probably be testing but far from open to the public. Why would I do this to myself? I think a second trip after summer may be essential!

It might be a GCI thing? I remember feeling exactly the same way about Apocalypse at SFMM. Dissapointed with the morning ride and then really surprised with the crazy speed at the end of the day.

Having just watched a few POV clips of this in it's previous life, I'm a little concerned that a new paint job isn't going to save it from it's past reputation, Advil at the ready folks!

Very reassuring thanks for checking that out for me I thought that it might be busy as it's open until 10pm. I've got the 1 hour ERT that comes with staying at the Breakers Express so hopefully you're right and we'll just be able to take our time.

It all depends on whether it rides like Behemoth or Silver Star but I think it's safe to say if it's the former then we're looking at the World's best B&M Hyper. A true airtime machine with fantastic theming. I'm going to have to wait until September to ride this thing though, can't handle those summer queues at PA. Now if only they could get some new trains for Baco and Stampida

I think it's fantastic that they saved the best inversion for the end

We'll be visiting CP on Thursday 14th June so i'm on the fence over whether fast lane will be for us but it sounds great. Not that expensive (by UK standards anyway) and as we've only got the 1 day there it might be worth paying extra for. Do you think that the official hotels will be able to sell these in addition to the cheaper entrance tickets? I'd rather not pay online in advance as it could turn out to be a really quiet day (delusional? perhaps )

Some track replacement can't be a bad thing for the Cyclone, we're looking at 88m or so, some of which has clearly been the first drop. Does this mean the evil first turnaround has been re-profiled too?

Are staggered seating trains really that bad? I hope not because I'm looking forward to skyrush as well as this but have never tried these new train designs before.

Like others have said I would try to squeeze in dinosaur at ak it really doesn't have a bad queue until midday, a very well made ride! Star tours is definitely worth going on since it became 3d, much more immersive than before. Have a great time, my girlfriend and I have done all 4 parks in a day before and that was in June so you should be fine. Driving to each park is recommended as your parking ticket is valid all day at all parks and we've found that the Disney transport gets less frequent during off peak hours.

Absolutely breathtaking!

Went on the ride a couple of times today. Personal opinion of course, but having read a few spoilers etc I found it to be a great little ride, nothing majorly exciting but well executed given capacity issues. A decent drop actually, very similar to the drop on thirteen, perhaps they have modified the ride since initial opening? Looking forward to the full experience once they get all effects working. I think the ride left a positive impression on me because it's pretty unique, perhaps a little random, but not my worst nightmare Just a note of interest for some, there were many big guys from Merlin HQ (a guess) at the ride for most of the day so there's obviously a lot going on behind the scenes regarding the negative feedback. I think they need to make the point of the ride more obvious, you just don't get enough to time to understand what's going on once you're inside because you never get to see whats attacking you. They really should have spent money on an animatronic alien in the cave screaming at you (which is what I expected) as no one really has an idea what's attacking us. At least with Alien Encounter you had this which made the dark section all the more scary.

I must say that's an awfully strange advert! They should have played it straighter like swarm but oh well...
