Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

^LOL It sounds like that guy was trolling. I doubt that guy was being serious. -
There's a "fan page" on Facebook called roller coasters (Which I have liked on my FB). They posted a photo of Insane in Grona Lund and I found one comment that was so outrageous, I couldn't pass this up. What's even worse is that this comment got two likes. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151534775796465&set=a.10151309918421465.485718.43016426464&type=1&theater

That's a shame that there will be no more Log Ride overlays. I never had the privilege of getting to see Red Moon Massacre so I never got to see any good overlays. Even though the themes were never really that good, I at least got the best scares on there. I have said this earlier, but if they can't do an overlay, they should at least throw in a couple of monsters for good measure. Just assign them in places that OSHA wouldn't mind too much (Which would be almost nowhere).

Just watched the video, and I am in absolute awe. This is the first dark ride since Spider-man to truly impress me with its effects. The sophisticated movements of the animatronics, the awesome finale, the amazing story-telling...man I wish I could get to Hong Kong soon. A ride like this is REALLY needed in the U.S.

The log ride is looking amazing. With the renovation and the addition of Coast Rider and the two flats, Knott's is turning into a very well-rounded park. What really intrigued me about the concept art was how the logs in the images had different seating patterns. I know it's just concept art, but I wonder if they really are going to make the log's seating patterns similar to MK's Splash Mountain? I mean, is the flume even large enough to accommodate such boats?

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

So I went to USH today to get a few rides in as I had nothing going on. I had a few GP encounters while I was there. Apparently, reading signs is not what Californians do. First off when I went to ride Transformers, some group of late teen-looking kids went to the entrance and kept stopping in front of me asking each other if they were going the right way. They kept convincing themselves that they were going in either the exit or the Fastpass line. While I sat down on the Mummy, some lady in front of me grew worried of the restraints and asked the attendant, "This isn't a roller coaster, is it?" As soon as the attendant said that it was, she freaked out and demanded to get off as she didn't do coasters. Her husband kept saying how he thought this would be like the Indiana Jones ride. I guess you missed the umpteen warning signs that said that it was a roller coaster? -
Well my noon class got canceled, so what better way to spend the time i wouldve spent in class than to drive up the street from my school and spend a couple of hours at SFMM? I went to the park today just to ride Goliath and Batman. Everything had a thirty minute to a Fourty-five minute wait. The park was pretty packed as it was spring break for a lot of schools (Mine doesn't start until next week). Lex Luthor was closed and Apocolypse was running one train. As for FuII Throttle, I finally got to see it in person. I didn't get any pictures as the progress was the same as what you have already seen. Just thought I'd give an update. EDIT TO ADD: I forgot to also mention that they were handing out blue boarding passes for Tatsu. I had to leave the line since I was pressed for time before my class met. Anyone know what that was for? I don't think I've seen SFMM do this before whenever I was there.

On the certain fanboy site, word on the street is going on that Disneyland may be doing another 24-hour event from May 24-25 but with both parks instead of just the flagship one. To add fuel to this, all of the passes up until the Premium are being blocked out on the 25th. Here's the passport calender. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/blockout-dates/ If it does happen, I'm going to be on the fence on going.

http://www.ocregister.com/entertainment/ride-500610-knott-evacuation.html I would love to meet Knott's. He sounds like a berry interesting individual. -
Theme parks. I do enjoy some standard thrill rides, but I really prefer themed rides, especially themed coasters like Everest or the Mummy. I want to immersed in another world. I just like the idea of being immersed into a narrative more than just going on a roller coaster. I don't care if the ride is themed to Sesame Street or Evil Dead. I just want to be immersed into a very well-themed adventure.

Well, there were reports of some survey markings spotted by the Simpsons Ride. I'll be headed to the park Saturday to get a few pictures of them. At the same time, I've heard odd rumors that the Simpsons Ride would be the next ride to go after Despicable Me opens. Time will tell what those markings lead up to. They could be planting an electric fence to keep the BTTF fanboys out.

^ Out of boredom, I compared the Terminator building with the Despicable Me show building (Both in the Florida park). The entire building for DM is roughly the same size, if not slightly larger, than the T2 auditorium building! Considering both of the preshow rooms will be in the old preshow building, I think the size would be right to squeeze two theaters in the building. It would be wise to have two to I increase capacity.
