I went on Full Throttle this evening and I loved it! It exceeded all of my expectations. I wouldn't put it in my list of top ten coasters I've ever ridden, but it would definitely fit in with my personal top ten coasters in SoCal. The airtime on that ride for me was CRAZY. I was not expecting that major ejector airtime going down the drop! What I thought for me was going to be a lame, gimmicky one-trick pony turned out to be a ride that has me debating on whether I should rate this higher than Xcellerator or not (Leaning towards the latter). Overall, not DA BEZT COASTER EVA!!!, but still a really good ride. Can't wait for the ERT on this baby during WCB! By the way, I rode this at night. I recall some of you were wondering what happens in the tunnel. Nothing other than a standard strobe light. No fog, special lighting, fire, or anything. I guess they had the skateboarding dinosaur turned off.

I'm really pleased to hear all of the positive reviews of this ride. It sounds like FuII Throttle has exceeded everyone's expectations. When I get off of work this evening, I'll be making the drive to Santa Clarita to join the long line on this thing. I'll be having those garlic wings to satisfy me while waiting. Haha.

Just saw the report on Youtube from KTLA and I think this is totally on SFMM. Shouldn't this have been done a while ago instead of at the last minute? The park should have been more organized planning this. Even if they decided to have the opening one more week from now, that would solve this issue as they should've thought about this. That will leave a VERY bad impression on the customers who went to the park mainly to go on that ride. Of course, I'm assuming this will take longer than expected. If it's not that big, then cool. But still, it just seems so unprofessional and so expected of this park.

Here's another one. http://blog.pe.com/2013/06/14/knotts-berry-farm-garner-holt-shares-log-ride-experiences/ There's an article mentioned that there are two other projects planned for SoCal. The link that shows all of the art for their different projects also shows what could be the new dark ride for Knott's. Look at Echos Across Time. Where do you think that could go?

I went yesterday and noticed that Montezooma and Xcellerator are now closed. Anyone know why Monty is closed right now? I figured Xcellerator is closed from that bee incident. Oh, and I got to check out the new Log Ride while I was there and absolutely LOVED what Bud Hurlburt did with the ride. The scenes look like something made for a Disney attraction. The smells in there were also great. The only complaint I have about the ride is that the logs breeze through the scenes so fast, you don't have time to take in all of the details.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

I stumbled across this this gem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC-iI-DieFE What made this video was one of the comments on there. Uh, yeah...no. -
I agree. Granted, I haven't ridden it, but after seeing the POV of the ride, I can't help but think how "meh" the whole ride is. I think Transformers is going to be the clear winner here in Orlando. For the San Diego park, I thought before the ride opened that this would make a great replacement for Wild Arctic. I honestly think keeping that ride a lot longer would be a better alternative than replacing it with this. Never, ever thought I would say this considering how excited I was to see how this would turn out.

Haunt's 40th was so successful last year. I guess you haven't heard that Trapped sold out just about every night of the event's run. This sounds like an outlandish rumor some employee sprouted just to see how far it would go. I have a couple of friends/acquaintances that have seen the Haunt makers from time to time. I can promise you that this is not true. They're hard at work to make another awesome year. Like everyone has brought up, why kill the goose that laid the golden egg?

My only concern about the Ratatouille ride is that from the reports on the web from the available documents, they mentioned that most of the scenes take place in hemispherical screens. I'm hoping that the ride doesn't rely too heavily on the screens to the point to where it's more of a simulator than a dark ride.
