  1. I think a few pages back, someone posted a picture of the trains that arrived at the park and there seemed to be a black-ish thing going across the seat. I can't really tell if that's a belt or just a part of the train or whatever. Seatbelts or not, I don't really think that the ride experience will be all that different. It will still kick A$$.
  2. 100% correct! Kumba is definetely an awesome experience. Considering that there isn't really a ton of Sit-Down B&M's left.
  3. And the fee is only $5, which is still really cheap for a whole water park (especially compared to how much everything else in the park costs). That's a valid point. Although it just seems like a awkward concept to me. Well at least it's still free to the Season Pass holders.
  4. Granted, but the graphics and theming are extremely outdated. I wish SFGAm would replace Ragin Cajun's spot with a dark ride or Eurofighter.
  5. I think Gwazi at BGT definitely takes my vote. Rough and unenjoyable and the dispatch times were terrible when i went.
  6. My bad didn't get a chance to read the earlier pages.
  7. On the park website, they stated that they're now charging an admission fee for getting into Hurricane Harbor for non-Season Pass holders. It's still free for Season Pass holders. Not a fan of this
  8. I'm entertained by the fact that the first picture on the link is Euro Star Anyway, great read for Travel. Had some good information inside it.
  9. I managed to get to BGT for the first time yesterday. Parking was slow and the trams to the front were very filled. Lines got more crowded throughout the day, but were decent at first. Gwazi- About a 20 minute wait. Very slow considering they are only operating one side with both trains. Was fun at first, but them became unenjoyable after the first drop due to roughness. Don't plan on riding that one again. Sheikra- Had a 5 minute wait at first. My #1 coaster right now. It was extremely fun and the drop was amazing. I like how they take video of you on the ride. Kumba- Walk-on. Not my favorite, but it was quite fun. I like how the loop goes over the lift hill. Not too rough. Scorpion- 30 minute wait. Slow moving line with only one train. The ride was fantastic and very fun. Loved the classic Schwarzkopf loop. Cheetah Hunt- Was posted a 50 minute wait but it was a little more than an hour due to someone having a protein spill on the 2nd car and the staff taking 15 minutes to get the hose running. I loved this ride. It was insanely smooth and the launches take you by surprise. I like how close it gets to the water during the turns too. Around mid-day every wait was 70+ minutes,so I purchased a Quick Queue ticket for re-rides and Montu. Worth every penny. It was super effective. Montu- Walk-on with Quick Queue. Very forceful and lots of G's. I liked it a lot. After that, I re-rode Cheetah Hunt and Kumba one more time and Sheikra 2 more times because the ticket had a bonus slot for any ride listed. I ride Sheikra one more time before leaving because it was a 10 min wait. I left around 6:45. I would say I had an overall positive experience there. All the rides were fantastic (except for Gwazi and Pheonix) Quick Queue was a great system and everything was walk-on. Will definitely come back.
  10. I think his kid is a troll. If not then i don't know...
  11. They really are great. Makes the construction look majestic as hell.
  12. Here's a quick snap I took from the webcam. Progress being made! Construction cam
  13. Might be a SkyScreamer. This was on the FB page Could it be a hint? Maybe they're just fooling us.
  14. ^ < is about to work backstage for his fifth theatre production. v Bees?
  15. Here's mine. I liked how well it fit.
  16. Myself and many other skaters have this rant but.. Scooter kids are the worst people at skateparks. Like ever. When I'm about to drop down, they have to cut in front of me and go. And they are blind, because they have no sense of direction. They keep crashing into other skaters. And it's even worse when they try to be smart with you or swear at you or make outdated "your mom" jokes at me in their squeaker voices.
  17. the comments on Robb's NTAG POV video. The GP loves to make rumors when this happens. So does the media. It's a shame.
  18. I was at Great America yesterday with three other people. We got a regular flash pass, and it was very much worth it that day. Lines were long. The good thing was that while we were waiting to ride, the flat rides and the smaller coasters had little to no wait, so we would hit those up while waiting. We got on every ride, including repiV (which was fantastic, by the way). The day went well. Then it started to get late, around 7:45 ish, crowds started to thin out of the rides. Throughout, people were going to the exits or the igNight show. I'm personally not a fan of the shows, so we just go on more rides. There was absolutely nobody in the rides, so we got to ride each coaster about three times in a row without even getting out of the seat. Raging Bull we did 8 times in a row, so 11 times that day. That ride is pretty frickin' sweet at night. We left around 9:30 because we spotted heat lightning/thunderstorms coming this way. Overall, probably my best Great America trip yet. And a quick question. I'm planning to go to the Coasters After Dark event for the season pass holders. How are the crowds then?
  19. My bad, it just confused me for a second. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
  20. I think Dark Knight is a good ride for a family with kids. Remember, the park isn't just about thrills!
  21. I find it a tiny bit odd of why they have to put temporarily closed for NTAG in bold.
  22. 9/10 I can imagine that idea.
  23. Mine is a picture I tool messing around with long exposure. Found it cool
  24. ^ It's an opinion. What's wrong with it?
