I don't have a picture of it, but I have already been to the park twice. I guarantee you the black looks so much better than the white. It looks like an amazing ride with the new paint. It makes a huge difference. Also, since it hasn't been stated in this forum, there is a lot of rumors that when they took the train off of the track, they redid the wheel assemblies or something to make it smoother.

Haha. I hope it wasn't me that you were referring to. I would love to see a video of day time testing, so hopefully you were talking about somebody else. I definitely want to go down there and see it test in the day, but chances are that won't happen. We always got media day in two weeks. I absolutely can't wait for that!

This may be a stupid question but I have a video in avi format. I need to switch it to a format that is allowed on this site so that I can post it. Can anybody please help me in how I can change the format?

Montu Batwing Element
dougstanton replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just rode Montu for the first time today. I absolutely loved it...best inverted coaster I have ever been on. I understand that that Batwing element is "different", but I didn't see anything great about it. This is the first time I have been to BGT and I am beyond impressed. -
I have never been to Busch Gardens Tampa in my life and we are about to leave right now. This is a park I have been excited to go to for a while now. I will be sure to take plenty of pictures during this trip. We are going there three days and this first day I just want to relax. I will update over the weekend.

^^ The most recent floorless rumors is actually turning Scorcher into a floorless considering they are made by B&M and stand ups are starting to disappear, guests seem to lose interest in them. I personally love Scorcher.

Oh, Ninja DEFINITELY needs paint. When the guy died there the other day and they showed and overhead video it definitely needed it. If you don't already know it IS getting one. Red track with black supports. It already started considering that guy died...I do agree that the Cyclone needs it also. I would much rather have it on Ninja though. This may be a shock to some people but Ninja is one of my favorite Vekomas.

^ You are part of the SFOG.NET forums, aren't you? I didn't hear that rumor...I thought the rumor was completely new trains.

As I don't hate Vekomas, I don't see how you can think they make the best rides. B&Ms are smoother by far, no matter what one you ride, and Intamin makes great rides. I definitely love my Ninja though haha.

He just fell in and drowned. The water he was in was only 6 feet deep. The temperature of the water appears to be the problem.

It was something on the boat that failed. It isn't Six Flags fault at all. It wasn't one of their workers. It was a separate company that used all of their own equipment.

Yeah, I am talking bout the Georgia one. Well...I have yet to find a really smooth Vekoma. It is something you can put up with though, and enjoy the ride, if you sit properly. I think it is getting new trains this year anyways which should change it a lot. I find it to be 20x better than any SLC, but I find Hangman at Wild Adventures to be the smoothest Vekoma I have ever been on.

It is my home park. I make sure I ride it at least like 5 times every time I go. It isn't bad as long as you keep your head still. They are right though. Last car is the best. As long as you keep your head still, the front is so much fun. It has such a big front on the train and I don't know, it is actually one of my favorite front seat experiences.

Vekoma Trains
dougstanton replied to dougstanton's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am not concerned with that at all. Seat belts don't bug me at all. I know how slim of a chance there is for them to open. People in my family just think that since its rough, and doesn't have seat belts, they don't feel safe riding it. I am sure other people thnk the same thing. I just love these trains because of how open they are, and well hopefully, most importantly, smoothness. -
Vekoma Trains
dougstanton replied to dougstanton's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They would be getting new trains to make it smoother. I was just saying the seat belts were another plus about the trains. The trains now don't look all that bad. The ride is extremely rough though. I don't know if you have heard about it, but SFOG is doing so much this year to make the park better. They are painting Ninja with red track and black supports. I think they want to add the trains also to just make more people ride it. All I want to know is if anyone has ridden on the new train and if so, how are they? -
Is anyone else having trouble accessing this site?

Vekoma Trains

Yeah, I have seen that picture. I was just asking if anyone has ridden in the new trains to see if they make much of a difference. I actually like the looks of them. They are also safer considering they have that seat belt just in case the harnesses were to release.
