Me living near Canada's Wonderland, I can tell you that WindSeeker is a great ride. I love the sensation of "flying" and its a nice ride up and down. The ride might look scary from looking at it on the ground, but once your up in the air...its like you riding a traditional swing ride on steroids. Also, if the line looks long, it is actually short. Because of the capacity, the line moves really fast.

I actually still like Wild Beast...I don't know why, I just do. I remember about 3-4 years back, the park was so empty that I rode Wild Beast 8 times...in 1 hour!!! (Don't ask why I rode it 8 times...I just love that coaster)

Yet the world's first B&M giga is being installed there in 2012. I don't think there's any reason to cry. Some parks go almost a decade without a new coaster. I know....I was just hoping for a wooden because we havent gotten one for over a decade!!!

There go all my hopes for a 2013 coaster.....

Intresting rumour going around now...apparently Wonderland may be adding a new wooden coaster as soon as next year which is supposily named "Timber Trains". The location of thew ride is supposed to replace the White Water Canyon ride. It seems kinda weird that Wonderland would add another coaster just after they spent $28 million the previous year but anything can happen these days! I also mapped out the coaster over the White Water Canyon ride and it fit in perfectly.... Here is the concept art that is said to be created by Wonderland:

^What do you mean by "fog". Here at Canada's Wonderland, WindSeeker continued normal operations with the only difference for haunt being the floodlights being red. The lights on the carriage also continued normal programming/patterns.

The replacement for the Sponge bob movie will be a new Dinosaurs Alive film that MAY include the $5 fee.

Anyone got any new updates from the park?I hear that carowinds may have started installing the seating ring on theirs. Judging from their webcams, you are correct. The seats themselves and the orange poles that hold them are not yet being installed but the red structure is. This picture isn't from Carowinds, its from Kings Island. I just uploaded it here to show you what I mean just in case you didn't understand.

Did a bit of research and it appears that Leviathan is not a giga coaster...its a hyper....according to what B&M has called it.

I don't anywhere near Carowinds so I was wondering if someone could take a close-up shot on the "UFO" (the red thing at the top) and post it in this forum. Judging from other photos, it appears that Carowinds model will have one less feature than the others and I just wanted to make sure I was right.

^Which means that Kings Dominion will get the first bonus point in Screamscapes WindSeeker race!!!

WINDSEEKER UPDATE: Tower piece number 7 is now going up!!!! The tower should be complete soon...and remember the winner to the WindSeeker Race will be the park that OPENS the ride first! BBBBUUUUTTT!!! THE FIRST BONUS POINT HAS GONE TO KINGS DOMINION AS THEY HAVE FINISHED THEIR TOWER!!!

WINDSEEKER UPDATE: Tower piece number 6 is now being installed!!!

^thanks for letting me know about the update! Carowinds is also installing another piece right now. On that note, episode 2 of the windseeker race will be coming to screamscape on monday! Incase none of you have noticed, over at Screamscape, I have decided to give Screamscape the updates of WindSeeker in the form of a "race". Its called The WindSeeker Race: Carowinds vs Kings Dominion. Who do you think will be the first to the top? http://www.screamscape.com/html/kings_dominion.htm If you can't get to the link for whatever reason, here is the first "episode" I have written: "Hello and welcome to the first "episode" of the WindSeeker Race: Carowinds vs Kings Dominion! Both parks are fighting to be the first to the top! Last week we saw both parks place the first (base) piece of WindSeeker's eight piece tower (not including the maintenance platform and "UFO"). On Saturday, Carowinds installed not one...not two but THREE PIECES putting them in the lead! This makes Carowinds half way done the tower while Kings Dominion is still at 1 piece tall. At this rate, Carowinds could finish the tower by early February!!! Tune back soon for the next "episode" of the WindSeeker Race: Carowinds vs Kings Dominion."

Looks like the second airtime hill has been completed for Leviathan!!! Wouldn't be surprised if in less than 2 weeks the final piece of track will be placed!!!

There are 8 pieces that the swings run on. Ontop of that, there is a maintance platform and the red "ufo". Including everything, there is a total of 10 segmements of the full tower. Carowinds put up 3 pieces yesterday for a total of 4. If you or anyone has other questions about WindSeeker feel free to PM me!

^i know....I liked starlight a lot and hope it comes back this year. All I was saying was if starlight could reach the level of disney (fireworks, pictures of people at the park (I made a original post about this a few months ago),etc..)

I know I mentioned this before but watch this video below of the awesome mid-night Disney World show: WHO EVER AGREES THAT WONDERLAND SHOULD MAKE STARLIGHT SPECTACULAR LIKE THAT SAY "I"!!!
